It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world default smiley ;)

Curious about NIB horses? Want to know what a NIB horse is? You've come to the right place!

The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

Does anyone who breeds NIB Chinco ponies offer a broodmare service?

Please PM me if you do as I would like a foal from my stallion Pony Esonian. I know he's not very good, certainly not the best, but I would like a foal from him before he becomes a pass horse.

Just bred a pair of light bay fillies, Their names are Casablanca and Madrid. 354.49 GP and 71.47 GP =D Not bad for a pair of 2nd gens ^^

What rocket_girl didn't mention was that the twins were out of her 350.56 GP mare, Dapple Magic, and my 351.20 GP stallion, Senor Milo. Was disappointed in result since that is lowest GP foal for Milo since they removed 1 pt cap -- but also the lowest GP mare he has ever been bred to. So I guess not too bad -- his last foal before this was from 351.20 GP foundation mare and foal was 356.98 GP, expected to be 358.18 GP after games.

For NIB breeders, I give 50% discount on covering fees. Right now limited to PSH studs but expect to have Irish Hunter and a couple of Barb studs, among others, in the next few weeks. All are at 351.20 GP and are being BULPed to 100 now. Hope to be adding some other breeds to group of standing studs over the next few months.

Come check out the standard PSH studs available now -- Senor Milo at 500e (after NIB discount) and Mtztery at 200e (after NIB discount -- just starting breeding career).

My foundation Paint stallion, All Chromed Out, is now 100% BLUP & bolded in all 6 skills! It felt like it took forever but I'm glad he's finished! He is available for covers, just pm me.

I have been away from the game for a bit due to personal stuff going on in my life but when I came back I was glad to see that people are starting up NIBing in earnest.

I am still working on breeding NIB Arabs and NIB Fresian Unis. The highest I have gotten so far is around 355.78. I was farther before but due to the disappearing horses those horses are no longer valid for the program.

I would like to add to the mix.

I have quite a few 100 BLUP foundation Arabian studs in my Elite Arabian Barn Plus a couple of second generation studs as well with 100 blup.

I also have 2 foundation Fresian Unicorn studs and 2 Fresian Unicorn mares with 100 blup if anyone wants breedings to add to their own NIB herds.

Also in my sale page there are three barb foundation foals for sale and one morgan foundation foal for sale if anyone is interested in them as foundation stock.

I would also be interested in any training programs for Arabs with lower gp that work well. I tend to get the job done but have a hard time with some of my horses because they are just so low it's hard for them to get wins over the higher horses.

erm.. Just to clarify, how long down the lines is a Howrse considered NIB? Is it just no breeding between the foals, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins? Or is it overall don't breed if they share a line to any mare or stud? default smiley :$

I'm interested in NIB breeding but I know that I don't have the time to do so. Therefore, good luck NIB breeders default smiley :)

In order to be NIB you cannot have any repeats in your lines other than Ouranos and Gaia.

Thats the simplest way to look at it.

My highest so far is a 359.4 something GP 3rd gen (2nd gen to some players) not to bad considering I don't actually ever get around to playing with my foals.....or BLUPing foals once done with games default smiley xd

How you decide price of NIB horse?

I have been looking around and seen that price can be anything from 500e to several passes and 20k equus or even more...

I just cant decide if some of the horses I see in sales are cheap or expensive, and since I'm not sure if I want to continue with my don horses.... would be waste to not sell them for someone else - just have no idea what I should ask in that case.

It really depends on the breed.....I can buy foundations anywhere from 4000e (and under being spectacularly good deal for me) all the way over 20k.......but I breed arabians and they are in high demand.

I think the most I've paid so far is 10,000 & a few passes. As Forest said, it really depends on the breed & also if there are any BM items on them. If there's a rare GA coat on them...expect to pay twice as much as you are also competeing with the GA collectors who just want the horse for their coat.

I'm starting out in PSH's and they are incredible difficult to find. I paid 10,000e & a pass for a foundy adult with max gp & various BM items on them. He has also been the ONLY PSH foundy I've found with max gp. In auctions, for any foundy PSH foals I find before games I always start bidding at 2000. Usually, those can end up as high as 5000e.

It does depend on the breed. I've put some foundations in the sales recently and just filtered to suit the skills etc of my horse and then put the price a tiny bit cheaper than the cheapest horse similar to it. It also depends on how rare the horse is... if there are a lot of them, then they'll be cheaper.

I've been searching for barbs lately and their price could be just about anything. Just the other day I got fillies (unplayed yet) at the price of 1000 and 700. Actually other player bought them and sold then to me with same price she paid. That was cheap but i'm still not going to pay more than 4000 since theres quite a lot of barbs on private for less money.

Your new boy is amazing!! I am using a lot of my same stock from before but I am rebreeding some of my own foundies to see if I can get better babies this time. I am working on trying to get my second gens or first gens depending on how you look at it Blupped so that I can breed them to see what I get for GP then. I am having a real problem getting my horses to get their 20 wins. It's frustrating.

How are things going in your neck of the woods?

I would offer them for lower prices for NIB breeders who need them to start up.

Well....stagnate other than my elite trained boy default smiley (lol). I have started collecting GAs and that has become a whole new world for me default smiley (lol) not to mention I may take up ozcowrns as well.....already collecting a ton. My highest is 359.4something. Name is Sleepless Dawn 9.43 (I think) and he is around 12 and not fully finished. I don't have a mare to pair him to either sooo....default smiley xd

Tikki is only offering to 5 outside mares and 2 have been called default smiley (lol). After that is only custom foals. Coverings are 500e for any NIB mare (doesn't matter breed or generation) and only 1 mare per player (preferred) 100 BLUP only. Custom foals will be available once all the coverings are used up for 5k and 1 pass (to offset the tears that will be used or 20k to pay for a tears)

I think it depends on who is selling the foundations foals too I have seen them anywhere from 500 and one pass up to 50000 for arabians. Fresian Unis can be anywhere from 18000 up.

It really depends on whose selling it.

Ya, I sold a foundie foal for (including the item value) 65k and that is an arabian colt, untouched. Arabs are so darn spendy default smiley xd

May end up selling another one, it's been played with and was messed slightly so only at 351.18. Not sure yet though default smiley *-)

I saw one on the auctions the other day I saw one that was starting bid of 50k and they said they would pull it if it didn't get above 80k sometimes it's ridiculous
