It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world default smiley ;)

The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

By Retired breeder, 4th January 2010 00:31:06
Do unicorns count?

I just picked up this guy and was wondering if I breed him to my foundy that it would result in a NiB.

I also have this little guy I picked up, which I will be working on.

CraziU - I have lots of Foundation & 2nd generation Arab Stallions. Check my Already Bred & Arabs to be Bred tabs. All of the horses have 100 BLUP and all skills bolded - Coverings are 200e, just send me the name of the mare & the stallion you want to use.

tahnee - to count in the listings above, the horse can't have any ancestors that have disappeared. Some breeders don't care & will keep those horses in their program. Personally, I don't use them in my breeding program, but the final decision is yours.

Pintar5,
.
All my PSH foundation breeding stock has been sold except for Senor Milo and Mtztery who I am keeping for coverings. The only PSHes still for sale can be found under "PSHes for Sale" tab/breeding farm. Really want to see them all go to NIB breeders.
.
However I still have the 2 young foundie stallions, 351.20 GP, that still need BULPing finished (make offers):
1 - 1TS Nutty, foundation colt, 6 years, 351.20 GP, has H Shoes, M Arms, and C Timer
2 - 1TS Peppermint, foundation colt, 351.20 GP, has H Shoes, M Arms, and C Timer
.
I also still have the 5 2nd gen NIB foals (make offers):
1 - 2G Angel's Alto, 2 years, 2nd gen NIB colt, 354.57 GP, has A Lyre
2 - 2G Angel's Medias, 2 years, 2nd gen NIB colt, 354.57 GP, has A Lyre
3 - 2G Sombra's Cada, 2 year, 2nd gen NIB filly, 354.74 GP, no BM items
4 - 2G Erinsol Red Roy, 6 month, 2nd gen NIB colt, 354.90 GP pre-games, no BM items
5 - 2G Erinsol Red Rod, 6 month, 2nd gen NIB colt, 354.90 GP pre-games, no BM items
.
The Erinsol twins are only related to each other and parents, no other horse in entire game, so basically new bloodline. Their parents are newly 100 BLUPed and twins are result of first breeding for both of them.
.
All the rest of my PSHes are either under negotiation or are sold and just waiting for pickup when new owner has enough passes.
.
Contact me via PM if interested in any of them. Have had nibbles on stallions but no firm offer yet. Will be putting the stallions up in sales soon, need the space for my Morgans.

Rocket Girl,
.
I have 2 PSH foundation stallions standing stud duty, both 351.20 GP and 100 BLUP:
.
1 - Senor Milo, just returning from calendar year+ retirement to let foals get older and out of system more, always good sire, latest foal born 356.98 GP, will be 358.18 GP after games. Covering 1,000e, NIB Breeders covering 50% off at 500e.
.
2 - Mtztery, just starting breeding career, latest foal born 356.38, will be 357.58 GP after games. Covering 400e, NIB Breeders covering 50% off at 200e.
.
If interested in coverings please PM me. Only allow them to do 2 matings a day. Always make sure they are at 100% health, 100% energy, and 100% morale before covering. Have found that if both parents are at 100% of everything the foals often seem to have higher birth GP.
.
Mare requirements: 100% PSH (can be Pegasus or Unicorn as long as 100% PSH), either IB or NIB (but NIB Breeders get 50% reduction in covering fees), 100 BULP, and request that the owners have mares at 100% of heath, energy, and morale before accepting covering.
.
Request that I be notified when foals born with their name, birth date, gender, and birth GP for my records. Try one of these two fine foundation stallions on your mares, I don't think you will be disappointed at the results.
.

Hello everyone,
I started breeding NIB mustangs back in May of 09, took a break to get my ec in the top 500.
This thread has inspired me to get back in to the NIB breeding. I am trying to decide if I want to stay with the mustangs(hard to find) or try a new breed.
Importance of good records or keeping your foundation stock, I rechecked all of my 2nd and 3rd generation foals and lost 15 of them because of a missing horse in the linage.
Oh well live and learn, good luck to all of you on your quest for NIB greenstar.
Catch ya at the hitchin postdefault smiley :)
who needs foundies in these breeds;

russian don
quarter pony
paint
irish hunter

I have Mustangs, i am looking for them to go to a person who will look after and buy them all as a bunch for

passes or just equus i dont mind default smiley :d
By Retired breeder, 4th January 2010 13:21:25
Well, I'm working on my NIBs again after a small break of a few weeks - definitely missed them, although I'd forgotten how annoying it is to BLUP one that comes with some training done... Took the usual tactic of loading up with skill-boost items, so she should do okay.

Does anyone know of any players currently able to get hold of Gaia foals?
Sorry Inner, Nope default smiley :(

By Retired breeder, 4th January 2010 13:41:17

I'm really looking for a new player who has bought passes - someone who can access the private sales and use the Gaia Foal item to create custom foals.
