It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world default smiley ;)

The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

Well then. I only came away with 2 RGP Morgan foundies this time around in sales. And one is a slightly older one from the Pinatas promo but has a Blob coat. I didn't even get a foundie from the cards this time and usually I complete at least 2 puzzle sets. This server account didn't walk away with a whole lot, but my US account got a Greyfell (which I need here! lol.) and a Foundation Shagya Arabian.

Hehe, I wrote it down, too.

When I look for 350 GP Foundies, I select what breed I'm looking for, set the gp to < 352, select purebred, excellence star < 1, and I usually set the passes to = 0 because I typically don't have any.

Hello! I am looking to start my NIB project once I have gained full access to the sales. I'm wanting to work on a breed that isn't popular so no Arabs, TBs, QHs etc. I'd prefer a more less common breed.

What do you guys suggest? I was somewhat interested in Nokota's but I'd love to see some other opinions.
Any advice on where to find a NIB or foundie hackney? I have a foundie filly that I'd like to breed when she's done blupping in the next week or so.

Asfridur, thanks for the reference!
Thanks to October Lilac, I now have a very good foundation of Paints.
And yes, I am working on both old GP and rolling gain.

Hopefully soon I will have some NIBs to show off!

Nice default smiley :)

Been searching high and low for Christmas inspired GA's, as well as working on sorting the ones I have. So I've gotten a tad sidetracked I'm afraid.
Got so many bookmarked now it will take me a very long time to get them all.

Working my NIB drums as well as some NIB Shagya. Bred like 3 Drums I think. The Shagya are only progressing very very slowly.

I'm trying my hand at both 350s and Rolling GPs. Sorry, I'm not in the forums much anymore, so if you need anything sending a message is the best way. Currently though I'm trying to get the 350s fully BLUPed thanks to the new BLUP change. So any Rolling ones are kinda on the back burner at the moment.

HELLO!

So, many, many moons ago this account was called glamourgal2, and I did NIB Newfies. Lot of stuff's happened since then, got a job, got dumped, had an emotional breakdown, but I'm BACK. I was wondering if anyone could give me a quick rundown on how NIB is working with the new changes to foundations? I've been gone a very long time. default smiley :$

Basically, its up to you on what you do. There are two options.

Stick with the originals.
or
Mix in the rolling GP foundies. If you mix in the rolling foundies, you will be listed on a separate Top GP list.

But now that there's a severely limited number of original foundations, there's no way to facilitate a pure, original NIB line forever, right? That's so disappointing to me. I wish they'd never made the change.
Oh well, guess I'll go sales hunting!

Anybody got a NIB Tennessee Waling Horse Unicorn? Or know of any? I need to cover my mare, but I can't find any coverings.

Also will need a NIB Hackney covering in the future. Still need to BLUP her.

I have a bunch of blupped Hackneys, but they're the 350 gp.

Hello everyone! It's been a long while since I've logged on to this account. My life is very busy at the moment and I have very little time to work with my NIB's.
At the moment they're just gathering dust in my breeding farms.
Does anyone here breed NIB Haflinger foundies? I have many that I want to rehome to someone who will find good use for them. I've also collected quite a few foundies of other breeds, but I've lost track of them after all the time I've been gone.
