The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

Thank you!

I just gave him 3*** Tack and Bell Boots, Lunge, and Whip, and I already got one win in an all breed cutting comp!! So he is now up to 3 wins. I have a feeling this might take a while.

Non-Inbred Breeding seems really interesting and I've really been wanting to start fresh with my game focus.

I think I'd like to focus on NIB Selles, but I'm having quite a tough time finding both original foundies and rolling gain foundies. Does anyone know of any for sale or is anyone willing to sell? I'd love to hear from you over PM as not to clog this.
@Lumiere I just did some searching they seem hard to find. As in impossible right now I'm afraid. Nothing to be done except keep on searching for them. If I see any I'll give you a shout.

(Foundie wise I can see Spyder still has a few up for sale - no Selles though)

Has anyone been able to find any RG Russian Dons?
I keep on searching and come up with nothing. Maybe they haven't been released as RG yet?

I slowly still dabble along with my Shagya and the RG Drums. The latter being rather amusing to work.
Still haven't gotten past the 4th generation. I prefer to match the pairs as evenly as I can GP wise when I breed them = slows everything down. But that's fine as long as I'm enjoying it

Anyone breed NIB paints? I decided that maybe "all the paint horses I can possibly find" might be a few too many to BLUP and pared down my herd to 36 foundations (8 unicornsdefault smiley (l) ) I have a good little herd to sell but I don't think anyone will want them because many are not immortal (loads of hipparion/event foals). I'd like to gift them to a NIBer.default smiley (lol)

Yikes MY bad thought they were the old GP's default smiley ^)

I work with both the old and the new ones.
It's getting super frustrating to work the old ones. But I refuse to stop as long as I still have more of them default smiley (lol)

But honestly the new ones are a lot less headache inducing to work.
I love my old GP's though so I slowly plot along with those as well

Does anyone do NIB Tennessee Walker Unicorns? I have a mare that I want to cover but I can't find any stallions.
By Retired breeder, 24th November 2017 15:05:59

I do mainly new (only because I have more of them), but I play around with old from time to time.

I don't recall anyone mentioning breeding those. Anyone?

Checked what I have and sadly cannot help you

Hi everyone!

Sorry if I'm not supposed to post here!
I registered recently and bought both of the starter packs. Now I have a gaia foal and a champion's seed. I think both will give me a foundie. Since I'm not interested in them, I figured I'll post here if any of you would be interested in buying? I can choose the breed, gender and coat. You could pick everything and then I would sell the horse to you in reserved sales.

@Holone
Very kind though, however you are not allowed to advertise in public forums unless stated so in the intro post.
I think there was a forum in somebodies EC forum about selling and searching for NIB horses. Don't remember who or if it still exists default smiley :)

No problem default smiley :)
You can't delete a post, only mods can do that. But don't worry about it. You're not going to get a punishment.

I guess an in-bred uni would work too. I am not focused on Tennessee Walkers, so it is not a huge deal. I still can't find any coverings. default smiley (o)
