It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world default smiley ;)

The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

To bold skills is to get all skills gain completely done from training/rides/comps and you can tell when they are all bolded by looking at your horses genetics. Skills that are finished will be dark black or bolded default smiley ;)

BLUPing requires 20 wins in any comp and the top three skills of the horses genetics to be bolded. It is often times a pain for the wins but it is well worth it when the foal arrives default smiley ;)

Enter as many comps (trotting, galloping and such) that you can until you get no more skills from entering in them. Also do short and long rides to get all skills possible from them as well. Once you get no more skills from doing either of those (and since all your training is done) they will be bolded default smiley (y)

Hello everyone!
I've finally read through all 44 pages here default smiley :)
And now feel ready to join in! I'm NIBing TBs. It seems Connies, Fresians and Newfies are really popular.
I was hoping someone would know of fully blupped Tb foundie owner interested in covering a mare for me? I tried advertising in the negotians forum, but well... not really a success.

It is hard to look for NIBs in the public forums default smiley :-x ummmm I used to know a ton of TB breeders but now I can't think of any.

Arabians are also a very popular breed on here lol.

I do have a NIB friesian default smiley :p

Attention appaloosa breeders!
(i'm trying not to make this a sales advertisement lol)
i just found a foundation appaloosa mare with 351.02 GP! I don't breed appys but i was so tempted default smiley (lol). She only has training in speed and dressage, she is 6 years old and has a GA. I would be willing to sale her to a NIB for the same price i got her for. Please PM!

@ gaff...I have some most with a GP around 351.20 check out the breeding farm.

bluetempest, my oldest foundation is my own starter horse, I am pretty sure I did lessons with her most if not every day, and I dont think I have used any clouds on her. She has 396 in skills and is a bit over 23 yrs.

If you put your foundie in a really good EC you would easily get over 400 in skills, but they would have to be close to 20 years old.

Since your howrse is already fully bold, you won't get a whole lot more skills with clouds. Maybe with a good ec between 14 or 20? Just a guestimate, but the most extra agings you could get would be 80 with WOY, and two lessons a day; so times you're lesson gain by 160...

I do many NIB breeds and have made post to my ec forum stating what I have. there is also post you all are welcome also to talk out what you have.
will be easier to find when all just state what breeds they do and dont chat at same post.
would be good if all that have EC would to such post there we all can set our list at eachothers forum. easier to forum owner to find and also others that might not have list themselfs yet.

I'm just curious- what is everyone's highest second generation they've achieved after games? Second gen (to me) is a foal from two foundations. I just finished gaming a foal and she ended up with 357.01, which seems ridiculous... my previous have been in the 353 to 355 range. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed an increase lately, too?

I had some born a couple of days ago that were very close to breaking 357 (foals from foundations) - the gain is always going to rise, so it's not that surprising.

"[T]he gain is always going to rise," what do you mean by that? I'd been out of breeding my NIBs for awhile and focused on high-starred Arabians and Irish Hunters to get my EC under 500... so this has been a documented increase across the board and not some fluke?
