@ wild horse stables thanks for the link! Sorry you didnt hear anything back...but it doesnt mean it was all for naught. I imagine they've recieved ideas from many others as well, and it surely gives the developers fodder for their imaginationsdefault smiley :)

@ AAFKE I've been wondering where you were lol...congrats on the new finds! Those older lion models you found, are they retired? If so, that's an especially great find!default smiley :)

There is a good chance they are if there are newer modelsdefault smiley :)

I got some new models today, but they aren't Schleich. I got Breyer and Breyer/CollectA.

Click to display
I got the Breyer Hope, 2021 Horse of Year.

The others are CollectA, sold through Breyer in North America. I got the Barock Pinto Foal, since i already had the adult.

I also got the Fjord Stallion and Fjord Foal, who i think is super cute:

Without posting pictures of them, here are the other CollectA critters i got. All of these came in the same package, so I added a few so that i could get the free shipping lol.

I got the Brown Hare, the Mallard Duck (male), the Brahman Bull, and the Schnauzer (dog).

Welp this is either gonna sound funny to you guys, or really stupid lol. You guys know i collect Schleich. Well i collect a number of things, though Schleich is the biggest collection i have. I also collect many things here on Howrse. Anyway, i'm clearly a collector at heart. If i ever have to go to Collectors Anonymous, I'd have to say, "Hi, my name is Amy, and i'm addicted to collecting..." So i came up with my official job title lol. I am an "Amy-teur Collectorator." The Amy-teur part is a play on amateur lol. It may sound pretty silly, but it tickled me and i got caught up in the moment and even ordered labels printed with my name, address, and new official title on Ebay ha ha. They were only a few dollars so nothing too serious. Its more for fun than anything. Stupid, maybe, but fun. Need more stuff like that these daysdefault smiley :)

I tell myself, in order to justify my apartment being filled over time with my collections, that they are an investment. Many things i hope will go up in value given time. And the main thing i tell myself is, at least i'm not a hoarder. I may have stuff, and some may even call it junk, but at least its not trash! When i'm dead and gone, somebody can come in, and if they are smart, they can sell it all and make a nice profit. Ive got thousands of dollars worth of nice collectibles, in great or new condition, including the Schleich, Breyer, etc. Could go toward my funeral or somethingdefault smiley :) and if things go south for me this side of Heaven and i need to sell, it'd be fun to see the total that comes in at least!default smiley 8-)

I dont have an Amazon account...what are the prices/shipping like? I do like to order directly from the site when possible, but I know not all of you have that choice.

Decided to do a quick search for ya..Cause why not

Individual horses range from 7-18 Canadian dollars with 8$ shipping, but thats to Canada, so I dont know what your country would be, although there is an Amazon headquarters in England that would reduce shipping if you live in Europe

The sets look like 25-60 Canadian dollars with 14$ shipping

Other models look to be 6 dollars for the smaller ones up to 16, 17 dollars for the large horse sizes ones, and the sets are the same as well default smiley :d

Also @FamousAmos I saw you live in the US so the Amazon headquarters in America is in Seattle so depending on how far away you live from there the shipping will vary.

The prices are usually pretty good, but it depends on what model you got, if you found a retired model, or a limited edition model, they can be a little more expensive, I once saw a retired Fallabella mare model that was priced at $45, so it really depends on the model, and the seller

find a horse that you like, my favorite model would have to be their 2016 appaloosa mare, but i'm not saying you should get that model, That is my personal favorite, but find whatever model floats your boat

Does anyone have any tips on how to make a stable out of a cardboard box, that still looks decent but isn't complicated to make, I have 22 horses, and I have a wooden stable that I made with my dad, but it only houses 10 horses, so I made some more stables out of boxes, but they don't look very decent, and I don't really like how I put them together.

using things to cover up the cardboard helps like thin wooden popsickle sticks or simply printed paper with a wood like design
