Yaay schleichs! Hmm, where to start? Well, I have over 75+ schleichs.
Does anyone else love making schleich tack? I particularly enjoy crocheting saddle blankets.

Ya, a long time ago, amazon had a 60 dollar schliech stable with 3 horses! Now it is 90 dollars without horses, but that is how I got mine, schleich is really expensive though!

I really want a barn, but they're so expensive. Any tips on building
By Retired breeder, 20th January 2015 18:48:10
Sorry on building a barn for my Schleich?

And how might I build a tree without real sticks?

For a barn that would work just fine, I recommend cardboard shoe boxes! Take the lid and make stall seperators, You can add more later, for trees, I have no clue, I have the schleich tree, but I haven't made a real one.

I have all of the solid Schleich.
Now they are made of rubbery material.

I have the original, all of the horses, cows, goats, etc.

Get a stick (Popsicle or real) and get some grass or moss. Glue it on. Presto! Tree!
By Retired breeder, 20th January 2015 19:27:04
True, but the texturing this year is amazing! Great idea for the tree!

MagicInTheMeadows, yes I'd thought of that, but I want it to look real. And right now it's snowing, so I can't get sticks... default smiley :(

Penguinette23, when you said you made ponds I got inspired. I made a pond before, but it was raised off the ground and didnt quite fit a horse on the top part. So right now there is a pond in progress on my kitchen table.

I am in love with the hanoverian stallion!!!! If he was real he would be my dream horse!! (At least with the personality I gave him)

that's how I make my barns they're all cardboard and work great!!! My stallion barn is blue with white stall devidors and has 10 medium stalls. Our border barn is all brown and has 6 large high quality stalls. Our new mare barn is all brown with 2 extra large stalls and 8 large stalls. And all are filled because I bought a new horse.
This is my first schleich horse. Its the only model I have right now. He is a chestnut paint stallion. Don't know what to call him...and yes..that is my horse fuzzy poster.default smiley :-))

Will amazon be getting the new 2015 models? I want one of the riders, maybe the fence, and I like the curly, and tinker mare and foal, and really all of them, but I can't find them anywhere yet!

I believe they were always made from PVC materials. I have some old ones too.

There is a pond available for 2015. Amazon won't have them yet because the are just being released this month. I would think Germany would have them first and then other countries, though they might be shipped at the same time. It might take a few days or weeks until Amazon has the January releases. The releases for the rest of the year come out later, so we all will have to wait.
