What are y’all’s least favorite model y’all own? Mine would be the white shire mare because her legs are so SKINNY (Or the Icelandic mare because her legs are uneven but she is very pretty)

the 2015/16 friesian stallion. i dont like the matte mane and real shiny body also his build in general has more of a modern sports build and i personally don't like that type of friesian. i also payed way to much at this overpriced shop for him

We should have a area to talk about breyers default smiley :-)). I just got a BUNCH of old breyers, and I have no idea what they are or when they were made. Two of then have what seems to be like a bit in their mouths, and a chain attached? Never seen a breyer with that really. I even got one that used to be my mother's, my grandpa (the one who gave me them) has kept it, and it's gorgeous! Grey with some black spots on its hind quarters, I'm not sure what breed, possibly quarter horse? But then again I have no clue with these older models

There used to be a place but i think the poster shut it down cause of lack of posting i think. I think its ok if they are talked about here, probably so long as it doesn't end up drowning out discussion of Schleich, which i don't see happening. Anyway, i also collect Breyerdefault smiley :) Have you tried looking at identifyyourbreyer.com?

I have 4 really old Breyer models but they don’t stand up very well and one of their legs broke off! Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Umm I'm not sure (I'm not not best at fixing stuff) do you still have the leg? Maybe you could re attach it with some super glue or something? If not then maybe you could make a new leg with clay but it wouldn't look very good

Also I looked at it but it didn't seem to have any of them, it didn't have many of the traditional size models on there I guess. Their is this one that I would love to know how old it is. It's a gorgeous grey appaloosa with white spots (traditional size) it was my mother's when she was little. I couldn't find any pictures though. It had to of been from the 70s or 80s, I'm just not sure exactly when, or how rare the model is. The only thing about it is that it has a slightly chipped ear and a bit on paint rubbed off on his forehead :/

I haven't used the site much either, but when i do, i find that many more are actually there, they are just tricky to find. It would probably take some digging. I'm not sure just how many are actually there and how many aren't yet, but somewhere i got the impression that it was an extensive collection on the site. Wish i could help more!

My favorites would have to be their 2016 appaloosa mare, and their 2020 limited edition Arabian stallion

Hello I'm just popping in here to reply to Famousamos, because I don't think I should be hogging the retired coat conversation thread, with an unrelated Tropicdefault smiley ;)

Yes it's Schleich, they have them in stores everywhere around me so those are the ones I still encounter and have to fight the urge to buy.
I'm not sure how many I have of them that I brought myself because they are mixed with my collection of "my beautiful horses"which is the same size but I don't think they exist any more as a brand.
But at least 100 of those two combined I have.

I have been given two of them in more recent years as gifts, since I have some of my old model horses on display(mainly Breyer) my nephews and niece has realised I collected them ones so they have occasionally brought a Schleich for medefault smiley (7)

Otherwise I probably shouldn't stay because the urge to buy model horses haven't died but I don't have the space any more so I have to resist the temptation.
Congratulations with all your finds I do love Schleich (and Breyer)default smiley (l)
