I might have to get duplicates and put my name on it when i get new ones. I have competition. default smiley (lol)Tell my husband all i want on every holiday is a schleich that i dont have until the children are older. Preferably horse or pony.

just got the new paint mare(?) and the stallion! i haven’t bought new schleich in like 6 years since i switched to breyers only. tbh most of them in recent years have looked bad or weird so im surprised i finally like newer ones.

I picked up this gal today. Its the Flowy Unicorn Mare. She wasn't a top priority for my collection, but i was able to get her on sale for $5 instead of the full $20, so i was happy to add her to my farm!default smiley ^)

I enjoy Schleich! But I have sadly noticed that the quality has gone down. Apparently it is because they now see them as a children’s toy instead of a collectible which is disappointing. Lately I have not been impressed with their horses. The older styles were better.
I hope I don’t offend anyone.

Well, i never expected Schleich to come out with a model like this one, but i had to get it! Its a limited edition model that is available right now...and i was a 90s kid who grew up loving Lisa Frank (don't judge me lol default smiley :p), and this one is giving those vibes! The pic is a little larger so its in a spoiler.

hopefully next years horses look better than what they have been… i got the paint bare and gelding recently but i think that’s all i like for newer ones.

I picked up this year's Limited Edition Holiday Horse, which i think is beautiful and i like the mold.default smiley *-)



The other character i got is the Golden Anniversary Reindeerdefault smiley :) And i must say, he has one big red nose lol. I shall call him Rudolph!default smiley xd

Guys, i'm so thankful tonight! I made a small order from the Schleich website a few days back, and hesitated a bit to do so. But i'm so glad i went through with it! Its in a spoiler because its a good sized post!

Ok, so this is who i got:

I got the Limited Edition Pegasus Stardust Metallic Edition (that is the name on the delivery form!) and she's very pretty...i love the wings!



And here's the other one, the one i'm thankful for! Its the Limited Edition Day of the Dead Llama. I thought it was just another limited edition, like the others. I LOVE collecting the limited edition models. But this one is a little different...i saw the limited edition tag on it, and when i turned it over, it says 214 of 250! I was like, they only made 250? So i googled it, and sure enough, there were only made 250 of this guy worldwide! It was only available on the website until they were gone...wow! I got one of the last handful of them, and i went to the website and looked, and by golly, they are sold out now! So i am very glad i went through with the order and added this rare character to my collection!default smiley ^) I can't hardly find a pic online of this one, so i'm adding my own. Not sure yet how to make them smaller!







He will go nicely with my rare brown Llama, who was sold briefly only at the Leipzig, Germany Zoo, back in 2009 i think. There was only 500 of these guys made. Llamas...who knew?!default smiley xd
