Schleich!
I have more than 30 schleich horses! My favorite is named Jason (not a name from schleich its self) a Knabstrupper gelding. Huge fan!

Ok, so i am in the process of getting some new (old) Schleichs! I do not know how many i will end up with here soon, as i have made a very good connection with someone, but here is what i have so far! The dates i have may not be exact, but should be generally close if not fully correct. These models are from a collection, not a toy box, so they are in new condition with tags! Some of them are duplicates, but it was too good of a deal to pass up!
Click to display First, i have the 1999 Turkey, who was available from 2000-02.  Next, i got the Roebuck (1995-04).  I also got the Roe Deer Doe (from the next generation of Roe Deer), 2008-?.  Next i got the European Grouse, which is one of the duplicates for me, but i couldn't pass it up as i got it literally for $2! This is a large piece for a bird! It was available from 2000-2002.  The next little guy is the Standing Baby Boar, 2004-?  Now is the Dromedary Camel, from 1992-05.  Then comes the Lion Cub, from 1992-03!  Up next is the Ibex, from 2007-?  And last but not least are my favorites out of the new group, the male in particular! He's just a good sized solid piece and makes me smile to look at! Now i just need to find their baby. Its the male and female Orangutans (Female, 2003-08, Male 2003-05)!   That's all for now...i plan to be back soon with more!

Ok, just a couple more at the moment...my work client gave me this beauty for my birthday, although it is a duplicate for me, which i don't really mind! Especially since i have so many it can be hard to find one i don't have, as far as new ones in an actual store go.
Its the 2019 Knabstrupper Stallion!  The other one is older...its the 2005 Dog. Yes, just dog lol. He was available from 2005-07. In my collector's book, he is actually included in the small pet section rather than the dogs, which was a separate section. Little guy shares the page with a frog, hamster, and budgies lol. He doesn't even have a breed identification...just a plain little doggy lol. Maybe just a mutt, which many agree is the best "breed" there is!  I'll be back in the future with more! Going on another trip for a day!

Ok guys, i made a ridiculous Schleich haul today! I'm still kind of in disbelief...and there are more waiting for me there the next time i go back! Its actually gonna take me a while to get it all posted...so if you are interested be sure to check in here and there, while i attempt to work on it! Its gonna be a little daunting and time consuming for me, so bear with me!

Ok i'm gonna try to get the first group posted here...this is a long list cause i got quite a few from this group!
Click to display I think i'll start with the birds...i got most of these birds for $2 each! Ok, i got the Golden Eagle (1999-03). Next is the Osprey (1999-03). Now the Common Buzzard (1999-03).  Next is the Condor (2001-02).  Now the Whiteback Vulture (2000-03).  Now the Goose Vulture (1997-99).  Next is the Pelican (the white version, i already have the brown one as well...1998-99).  I also got the Blue Parrot (2001-06).  I'll go ahead and include this guy since i have his info up...its the Bat (2002-04).  Next is the Toucan (2004-07).  Now for the Red Parrot (2004-08).  Next is the Common Raven (2001-04).  Now for the Pheasant (2001-03). This one's a duplicate for me, but it was new with tag and i didn't want to leave it lol.  And last for this list, unless i've missed one lol, is the Eagle Owl (2002-08).  Whew that was a long list...hope you like them! I'll be back later with other critters!

Ok i just have a few minutes right now, but gonna try to squeeze in this small list.
Click to display I picked up just a couple dogs, and a wolf that i will go ahead and include as a canine. The first two have their beige tags still!First is the Bernese Mountain Dog (1996-2012).  Next is the Great Dane (1997-2004).  Lastly is the Wolf (1999-2002).  So that's the new doggies! Way fewer of those than the birds, but hoping to get more in the future!

Click to display The horses are here! First up is the Arabian Light (1999-2001). I can't find a better pic that is small enough lol.  Next is the Arabian Dark (1999-2001).  Next is the Pinto Stallion old painting (who i've heard is called the Super Pinto, and is very valuable!) Available only in 1999.  Up next is the Lippizaner Stallion (1992-2001).  Then, i got the Fullblood Horse (1991-1996).  Ok, these three are all related. I got the Godolphin Arab Horse (1985-1995).  The Darley Arabian Horse Spotted (1990-1995).  And finally the (regular i guess) Darley Arabian Horse (1988-1989). And the last horse i got this go around is not as old as the rest, but its one that had been eluding me for a long time. Its gotta be the right timing, the right price, and in the right condition. So happy to have finally found her! Its the Camargue Mare (2006-2010).  That'll wrap up the horses for this go around, but planning to get more! Hope you like them!

1. A appaloosa called Spookie because I have a appaloosa irl so 2. A Arabian (I think) called Matilda 3. 2 small Dalmatians that are both puppies called Ash and Ashley 4.Another Arabian idk if he is one though but he looks like Matilda called Milo 5. A Welsh called TinTin 6. A Irish cob called Bobby/Bob 7.A black dog called Voidy idk what breed he is 8. A warm blood foal called Angel 9. A cow named Mrs Rose 10. Mrs Rose husband Mr Grump because he's always grumpy there both cows. Well that was it for now I might come back and do another list of my top 10 favorites!

Hi, welcome! That's something that you have such a specific list of favorites! I am no good at picking favorites lol.
These last ones from my old vintage haul are all together since they didn't fit the other groups. Click to display First up is the Grizzly Female (1995-2003).  Then is the Marten (1997-2002).  I got the Water Buffalo (1996-2001).  Next up is the King Cobra (1998-2002).  The next two go together... its the Baboon Female and the Young Baboon, both 2003 to 2004.   Now comes the Anteater (2003-2006).  Next is the Reindeer (1999-2004).  Last but not least is the European Bison (2003-2005). I've been after this guy for a while, since i have his American cousins. Very glad to have him with his tag now!  This is pretty much it for the large haul i got last month, although i have one more to share shortly that is a little different. I'll try to get it on here soon! I also just got some new Schleich from this year's releases that i will share as soon as i can as well!

Here's another list just because i was bored top 10 favorite horses mare and foal edition
1. Ruth warmblood can be really grumpy. 2. Ginger I think she's a warmblood or lustanio 3. Night full-blood (gallop horse) 4. Spot Shetland pony foal 5. Sassy a halfblood foal. 6. Tiny quarter horse foal. 7. Wild west (Westie) full-blood 8. Dance under the stars (star) some mix between warmblood and some kind of draft horse. (Including some of my other magic horses as I ran out of favorites from the mares) 9. Chocolate Rainbow(Rainbow) unicorn with a rainbow mane/tail brown horn. 10. Starlight a Pegasus Next list is gonna be top 10 animals I think or top 10 handmade tack/stable stuff someone please tell me which one I can't decide!

Here is my last vintage guy...he's a little unique! Click to display Ok its the old tiger male, available in the mid 90s. What makes this guy unique, as you can see, is that he is unpainted! So this picture is actually my picture of the exact one i have. He is in some plastic that i am leaving on because i'm wondering if it is original packaging or was put on him by someone later. Just in case, he is still in it. Hope you like him!

farm animals 1. Lady some breed of cat. 2. Ash and Ashley as we already know lol 3. Lady a bernese mountain dog 4. Shadow a German shepherd 5. Goldie a golden retriever. 6. Teacup a chihuahua I think. 7. Voidy the breed noone knows. There's just alot of dogs this time and the list is kinda short but this was the only was kinda rushed anyway hope yall enjoy it!

I always wanted to make dioramas for my Schleich and Breyer models, but I only even got around to doing one for a little ceramic figurine, which is my profile pic. I’m not good with posting images either, so my little avatar will have to do. I love watching this thread to see all the collections and creations. Keep up the good work everyone!

Hi do someone have a idea of fabric for horse blankets I have began to sew my own blankets for my schleich im doing one for my chestnut what type of color should I do the blanket?

@RosemarE5, I love your profile pic. I started my instagram account almost 4 years ago and I wasn't very good at first but I have gotten much better. I write little stories about each picture I take. It is very therapeutic for me and a way for me to interact with my Schleich as an adult. My whole basement is taken up with diorama material and Schleich as my mom also has an account and does dioramas. I've met some great people in the Schleich community.
Hi do someone have a idea of fabric for horse blankets I have began to sew my own blankets for my schleich im doing one for my chestnut what type of color should I do the blanket? I like hunter green on horses, especially chestnuts and bays. I also like burgundy on chestnuts.
