Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you
zepharo

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Whatever Arab is top in public covers (about 7790, I think). I'll cover all costs, of course.

does anyone have a good idea for a cross i want to get back into breeding again. i took about a year off but im bored again. im looking at mainly english comps
I'm baaaaack for the summer holidays... I was amazed at how high the gp of the Selle's is in public now, when were they released? Anyway after breeding a few of the classic Selle/KWPN crosses I've decided to have some fun with this little one for something different.

Thoughts? default smiley :)

How does one determine their horse's ranking when it comes time for the game update?
I have seen a few players now that are confident they'd have a number one horse (in a variety of ranks), and was curious as to how I could determine my own if they were ever to be a ranking horse?

Also, has anyone covered a Thoroughbred with a Peruvian Paso?
I bought a couple of Paso pass horses and one of the mares had stacked a few wins in Gallop and it got me curious - how the natural TB skills eligible in Paso competitions would go?

You look at how many skills your horse has and compare it to the horses already ranked. There is the off chance that there will be another horse who has also been skilled on the same day which will have higher skills, but it's very small.

I finally bred my first cross to reach 10,000 skills! Louise still has 15 years (mostly) to go with lessons, so I'll be happy to see what her final skill level ends up to be.

So my question was deleted from the gameplay forum but I'm sure someone here knows... Does anyone know if the Dutchman paint team is still up and running, have they maybe changed their name? I didn't seem them at all in the rankings. I needed high GP/skilled paints to start a project haha!

Has anyone ever experiment in "creating" new breeds like the Friesian sport horse or Araloosa? I'm interested in starting a long line of Arabian x Appaloosa crosses and I'm wondering where I should begin in terms of breeding. I'm and experienced breeder, but have never tried crosses before.
