It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world default smiley ;)

The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

Oh happy day! I actually managed to get a pass from one of the sponsor offers and since I am still 6 days shy of 30 days seniority, I was able to buy another foundie. Now I have a female foundie. No matter what gender foal Leo and Felony produce once I'm done training them, I'll have a mate for them!

Thanks Misabel.
Hope you had a good vacation?
Glad you got you PC issues fixed.

I'm visiting family currently.
Is easier when I need someone to drive me to rehab.
Buncha evil monsters the lot of them default smiley (lol) But they definitely know what muscles and tendons that needs work...omg.

Any ways means I only have laptop access when my family isn't using it. If they are I have to make due with the iPad, and it gets old fast.
I really miss my PC - the bigger screen and opening several tabs.
On the laptop I have to set zoom to 50% to make the game tolerable to play. If I do not the scrolling drives me mental.

Bought a pair of foundie Shagya in sales - expensive but I had to get the,. Also bought some RG drums. I really have to stop checking sales default smiley ^)

I have a fair few NIB horses, lots of different breeds. All original NIB horses. I'm setting up a topic in my EC forum with the list of what I have since I don't know if posting that I'm willing to breed or that they are up for breeding is allowed here....

It's only an option up to 30 days seniority. But you can buy another foundie and choose the color for 1 pass. Considering I don't have a desire for many of the BMIs, I used a pass for that. default smiley :) It's under the same category as a business key.

Woah if I had known that I would have gotten one. Oh well...

Hope everyone is well. I'm still struggling to visit, i sorted my breeds ONCE AGAIN. now to get some boarded and comping!

For ECs, what is the highest skill I should ask for? I have flax, showers, biggest stalls, ect.. 100% comfort and 100% meadows and such, just need great boarders, any tips?

Yello!!

I'd say it depends on what lesson gain you're opting fordefault smiley :) Mine are 60e, as I do a Gypsy skiller every 4-6 weeks to keep it there.

Hey everyone! I'm new to NIB breeding but I've always wanted to get into it! I decided to go with Drum Horses for a couple reason. The main being how challenging it is with only 3 covers. Is anyone else trying Drums or other draft horses? I'd love to chat with people who enjoy the same challenges I am!!

Hey y'all! I need a favor. I have a bunch of 1st gen. Hackneys (OGP) that need their comps filled for both types of comps. Many of them are entered in comps for all horses.

My horses have names like Heart Attack α, I n f i n i t y α, MONEY & FAME α, and so on. Basically any horse with alpha (α) behind their name.

Anyway, thanks if you do fill. I'll return the favor.

Whou whoo!!!! Got my first pair of foundie Mustang foals.
Focusing on getting my TBs going first though. I've got enough foundies for about 4 generations after I get Leo and Felony BLUPed for breeding (and then BLUP their foal - gross).

@spotngold - I have the farms just haven't started the process of blupping those guys yet.

congrats on the mustangs! they were one of the hardest for me to gather

as for filling comps, if i see them i sure will!
Maybe this is more of a frustration than a question, but how do you go about "repairing" the damage done by previous owners when trying to BLUP partially trained foundies?

I use the note pad on each of them and have the BLUP schedule for that breed posted, but when all of the wrong skills are fully trained, and none of the rides are done, not to mention no wins, I feel like Im wasting my time.

Do you BLUP differently for foundies or just try to clean them up as best you can and hope to get wins?

I'm working old foundies, so I need to cram all the skills I can in to them no matter what - no real schedule or order to it, just bold all the skills I'll need for the comps I want to enter, slap on as many bonus as possible and start comping. Whatever the previous owner did makes no difference to me, as long as it was toward that end.

The only exception is a foundie that has been allowed to get on in years without doing lessons. Those "lost" skill points can not be recovered, and it makes a big difference when you're trying to get wins. You have to either have friends to help you fill, or get very lucky.

I generally have people help me fill when I encounter a bad one. I have several rarer foundies (knabs, mainly) who were poorly trained and at 15 with no wins its kinda rough start when there are still top 3 skills needing bolding
Do foundation unicorn parents count in NIB breeding? I have at least 2 of every original foundy except the quater ponies are foundation unicorns not ponies.
