It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world default smiley ;)

The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

Finished blupping and bolding a QH Foundy last week.

Now working on 2 Lippi mares, and 2 QHs. I think in a week or so, I'll be starting a Hunter and another QH. I'm on a roll.

With that said, I now have a pair of orig. Haffies ready for adoption. They got me wondering about unique Haffy crosses, and now I've decided that one of my Dev. Art chars, is going to be raising Haffy sports default smiley xd

I do the same thing! I'm trying to get a coat, background, and PS on all of my foundation Hanos. Also, I started a thread in my forum for showing off your foundations if you'd like to post your horses there as well default smiley :)

I think you just crashed my economy right there...

What I'm telling myself right now: "No, buy 8 foundies impulsively like that is not bad. 8 isn't too many"

But they were so cheap!
Got 6 shires, 5 for 35k and 1 for 25k (had 2 covers left).
AND 2 BRAND NEW Percherons!! A female and male, 50k each. So now I have all draft breeds... And a money problem

Are old GP Gypsy Vanner hard to find for equus??
Been looking in the sales every day for a while, but I have only seen any for 3-4 passes.

Want to start a new project (not NIB), and Gypsy Vanners are my favourite IRL horses default smiley (7)

Thanks Emma Haven - I grabbed some Drums.
That's a lot of breeds your trying to find. Are you working on a specific project or just trying to complete a trophy? Or something else entirely?

It's great to see those NIB entries default smiley (7)

And welcome back HYDEIST!

Trying to breed a NIB 3rd gen Drum that has a GP better suited for one of the 2 I currently have. One has 1953 the other 2140. Don't want to breed those together if I can help it. The gap is too high.

@JoergenG yes they are hard to find I'm afraid. How about going for RG's in stead? There are several up for sale right now?

It's a long term goal I am just trying to get the trophy and have it all be NIB horses. Currently I am only breeding TB's. I am BLUPs all the other horses before I start breeding them.

Ok, so I'm looking for a very old, very specific howrse that probably isn't around anymore but it's worth a shot. He should have a birthdate of before 2010, he is a 350 foundation, Strawberry Roan Arabian stud. His affix had something with the word 'cloud' in it. If anyone has one like this or in fact any affix made before 2010 thaat has to do with a cloud, please let me know, I'm trying my best to find them and Howrse Spotters hasn't given me any luck but maybe I can find help with that stud here?

Thank you

Sorry for the double post, but his breeder is retired so there's a bit more info on him. He also has a pet, possibly a dog, or a zebra, and there's a slight chance it's a cat
