Congrats! Maybe post a pic when you're done if you can? If not, that's finedefault smiley :)

Just got this big fella in today! He's retired...2008 Simmental Bull. I had gotten the cow and calf, but they were retired so it was harder to find the bull. The pic is not mine though.

I just got the dun Arabian mare and foal, and their little stable! I also have the old red barn, stable with accessories, and the stable with tan wood, and red roof. I also have 3 Breyer barns. And I have 1 bookcase full of Breyers! I have 3 drawers full of Schleich mares, foals, and stallions. I have a container full of riders, and tack!

Hello everyone! I collected Schleich a LOT when I was a kid, and I’m just getting back into it. I’ve recently read a few books of Erin Hunters, who is the author of the Warrior Cats series. I’m thinking about collecting the cats and kittens and making my very own ‘clan’. Anyone have any tips on how to make small model trees? XD

I love the Tennessee walker mare 2012. Shes one of my favorite models.
I just went to a thrift store and for the first time found schleich horses!!! Got 10 for 10 dollars including tax. Appaloosa yearling, two old 2006 pinto stallions, old quarter horse stallion, old Frisian mare, new Frisian mare, old Clydesdale, and two shire mares. Excited to either trade them with some friends or repaint them.

Oh i wish i could get lucky enough to find a deal like that! I wouldn't even mind if some duplicates were thrown in...the only way i'd pass it up is if they were all scuffed up bad or something. Congrats!

My sister used to make stables with wood... She had a seven-horse block plus a mare and foal part (this was before we knew what real stable blocks looked like and that mares and foals usually go in normal stables). Anyone else make wooden stable blocks? If not, try it out! Quite fun really... I'd add a wash bay and tack room too with popsicle sticks cut up for saddle racks. Does anyone here home-make saddles and bridles? If so congrats, you are very crafty I have to say!! default smiley ;)default smiley (y) My sister made some good ones though but I'm not quite so talented at that stuff lol default smiley xddefault smiley xd I make covers though... I'm okay at that and it's fun. default smiley (y) Horse trucks would be cool to and I'm working out how to make them... excited to start creating! default smiley ^)

I have a mass collection of Schleich models. I brought a huge amount off someone i knew for like £70... Did i even use them? Nope. I was tempted try re-painting the ones which are damaged, but i am unsure of what paints or what i can use. Plus i never found the time >.<

But i don't have the heart to get rid of them. As some i've been collecting since i was like 10 years old. So they have sentimental value default smiley (l)

That's awesome! Are they horse models or animals, or a mix? I think some people in here do repaints but i don't. They could probably help you there if they check in.

I got some new ones today, and more are on the way. I got the new seal and seal cub, the new Texas Longhorn bull, and these guys:
