Hey all! I'm not a collector, but I do happen to have two lovely Schleich figurines I got as presents from my childhood, and I thought I'd share!

After some research, I figured out that this one is Feya from the Bayala collection.

This brown mare is a complete mystery to me, I have no idea the breed. The stamp on her belly says 2001.

Does anyone know what breed this mare is?

I don't know the breed but they are both very beautiful! Have you ever considered collecting?

OK I googled it and I think it is a trakehner mare, released in 2002.

Haha I don't have the funds to start collecting, nor the space! But I live vicariously through you all on here.

I don't she is a Trakehner in that case though, because her belly says 2001 - so how could she have come out a year before release? Online seems to flip between Hanoverian and Trakehner, but I can't find any source that says for sure what she is.

I've noticed that the year on the belly is when the item was made, and it is released the following year. If you look at an '18 model the belly says '17. That's why I looked up the 2002 horses.default smiley :)

That's too bad lol I don't have much in the way of funds either but when I can I add to my collection.

Hmmm, is it saying one is a stallion? Maybe that can determine which it is. I can't tell for sure from the pics on my tablet.

Cool! I don't have that One, but my friend does!
I have a friend who is wanting to trade/sell some of her older schleich horses, but I have no clue how much I should spend on them. They are all played with and don't have tags, but she has (to say a few) the old rearing morgan stallion, 2001 trakehner mare, and the old 1999 frisian stallion. How much would you guys recommend to pay or would it be smart to try and trade my mint condition grazing shire mare?
Famousamos, your 2001 mare is the trakehner mare sold from 2002 to 2006.

I love schleich, but sometimes I find the tack and accessories a bit expensive so I’ve tried making my own tack. It doesn’t really work though without any buckles, so where can you buy them from?
By Retired breeder, 30th April 2018 16:02:55
I collect all the horses!!
