Kaper! She was a 20 year old brown quarter horse that I took lessons on. We became good buddies before I had to move

Well I'm sure like most people, I rode horses around an arena anytime I went to a place with pony rides. So that one I don't remember. But my first day of lessons I rode a pony named Snowy, a very light grey pony (to the point where most people say white) with the need of about 3 yards of personal space. My instructer had me ride her for an entire session. I don't remember this but my brother said that I came home one day complaining about how I didn't ride Snowy on the first lesson of my second session (though he could have just been telling a realistic lie).

Bean (strange name right) he was a grumpy little thing but I loved him and he tolerated me... I think

For me, it was this chestnut guy named Spirit. One of my somewhat distant family members had him, and he was a little temperamental but I just loved the experience of getting to meet and ride him.

The first horse I've ever ridden was a Clydesdale mare named Beck and Call. Becky for short

His name was Flash. My grandma had a friend who owned a few horses and she brought him over to show us. He was still not fully grown but I was young enough to ride him with supervision. I remember he was so calm and gentle. I even got to feed him an apple slice!

Dreamcatcher, She was a beautiful and sweet flea bitten mare. She was a descendant of Gilbert Jones herd of Spanish Mustangs on Blackjack Mountain in Oklahoma where i lived. If ya'll have watched the movie Hidalgo, those mustangs are said to be his decendants. It was truly an honor to ride and care for those amazing horses.

I have been riding for so long so I don’t remember the first horse I ever rode. But the one I do remembers name was Hans. He died recently and I was so devastated I stopped riding for a while. He was a great horse and my best friend. I would stay out in his paddock talking to him for hours. I was in some toxic friendships so I forgot about them and he became my bestie. There were other people at my barn that rode him and loved him but not as much as I did. One time he had a severe colic when I was at the barn. I couldn’t stop crying. My barn friends were trying to console me eventually I calmed down and he was fine afterwards. He had the smoothest canter too. He was overall the best

My very first horse i rode was named Apache.

I can’t remember it but the first horse I owned was/ is hank my lease horse is jake (yes i have 2)
