I thought in the past when you bought a pack of cards during the promo weekends that you would receive at least one card you didn't have? Didn't happen this time around. I wish I had known prior. I could of used those passes helping others to improve or keep going on the game in other areas. Happy with some of the prizes I received though.

thankfully i was able to get every single card and then some duplicates. the only thing that really bothered me was the fact that one of the "grand" prizes was a vintage apple...something that is already SO easily attainable for everyone and not really much of a "grand prize." pretty disappointed the vintage apple wasn't replaced with something better.

Too hard to get the fire works horse. Only gave 18 points each time in the crowns. Everything else only gave 5 points or 10. Also the understanding of the divines and what they earn or give isnt detailed enough to understand what to do with them either.

seriously anticlimactic, started out good enough but the entire last week was a waste of my time, might as well have NOT taken part in the event,

got NOTHING useful or wanted in the last week of the event, just repeats of cards i couldn't trade & from the 8th all the way to the end only ONE of the cards was gold (even that was a repeat), the rest was repeats of bronze & silver cards,

in the end i got Viginty by using a diamond joker i held onto for over 2 weeks to get fragments for a horse i NEVER wanted, if the next cards event looks anything like this one i'll save myself the disappointment & not participate...

and don't get me started on the WORST flash sales EVER, with direct sales so few & far between & prices in the auctions forced thru the roof i didn't waste a single equu there

Honestly this is the ONLY time I've ever gotten the divine from a cards event so I have oddly few complaints. I would like to some how give my extra cards away though... maybe donate them to the flash sales? I don't want the eqqus but I'd like to let other players use what I'm not going to. Maybe that money could count to the piggy bank? Or let me spend frivolously and exchange the them for the CHANCE at a joker?

I LOVED the concept of this event! This is one of the first events I really wanted to finish, because of the concept and also the divines. I really wanted to collect all the cards.

However, I'm disappointed in the cards packs. 6 packs of 6 didn't give me enough good cards to convince me to get more cards. I really thought about buying more passes and getting 6-10 more packs but I honestly wasn't even sure if it would even get me to finishing this event. I could have gotten 10 packs and not a single diamond card. Even if I got one or two, I still needed three. So I didn't get more packs. I ended at 90% finished.

I got extremely lucky with the cards this time round which made it really enjoyable and easy to finish. Barely any work on my part so I definitely can’t complain.

When I say I loved the concept of the event, I mean that I love the artwork and all the different sets of five. There were some fun throwbacks to howrse in the past.

And I also wanted to say that after reading all the comments and seeing how some people spent 1000-2000+ passes and still didn't get the divine, I'm SO GLAD I didn't waste my money getting passes (I've only ever bought passes one or two times so the fact I was even considering it was huge). I'd rather be unlucky and unfinished than even more severely disappointed.

Also, for this being the 20th anniversary of howrse celebration event, I'm surprised it wasn't more generous overall. This was one of the most dissappointing events for me in terms of overall prizes. Everything I got was useless, except for the harmony pack and hermes winged staff. I would say the tyche's crown was a good prize, except that what I got from it was also useless. The tyche's crown and harmony pack are still pretty good/valuable, but the prize pool overall was just not that great. 15k equus, artemis arrow, and parchment as rare prizes? I'm suprised the polls are indicating a lot of people were very satisfied.

I got 4 Ember cards in a row, but because I had already gotten 1 of all the bronze level cards, I wasn't able to trade them in. Which is STUPID.

Please don't do that sort of thing again; let players be able to trade repeat collection cards for prize/joker cards, whether they've gotten all the cards for that level or not. Thank you.

Love the idea very upset I couldn't get the 20 year event horse, I spent passes and I didn't get but to a little more than 60% � Otherwise I like this kind of event!

I really hated the fact that the direct sales were for everyone to see and get. I years past it was just for the player and it was easy to get those cards. But it made it impossible to get any cards to progress the meter when everyone was sooo competitive on it. Like 1million equus for a gold card was insane in the auctions.

NEWS FLASH! Not all of us wanted it to be SUPER COMPETITIVE on this game!
That' sucked the fun right out of the game

Plus there was a time where the packs of cards went from 6 per 95 passes to 3 per 95 passes back to 6 per 95.. that was annoying to watch and keep track of.

The trading of cards weren't allowed once you had all the cards which sucked when you get 10 gold cards you dont need and want to exchange for other BMI items.

Also the biggest let down of all was THE NEW BIRTHDAY DIVINE. I paid for my passes to get the divine and it took a while to get the divine because I wanted it.

1ST I WISH IT WAS FREE FOR A 20 YEAR EVENT
and SECOND... , why couldnt we get copies of that divine and have the perk be valid for the other copies of it for MULTIPLES?!!

CROESUS you can have multiples and that horses perk is fine with MULTIPLES!!! It would ensure players having to be on every day to play!

I wish there was some sort of thing that made this 20 year anniversary event special. And there just wasnt anything. I have been checking every day, multiple times to find a hint of news for a update to make this anniversary GREAT! But this is the biggest let down ever. Like a adult purposely neglecting its child cause it could care less. I've dealt with many jobs like this but a game? SHAME ON YOU

My only issue was there was one diamond that even with purchasing many extra cards I could not get only got 3 diamond cards altogether

I loved the theme of the cards - seeing old features and milestones of the game commemorated that way was neat, and gave me a lot of nostalgia. Some of them, like the seahorse, I'd forgotten! I'm glad the game devs didn't.

I agree with what a lot of players have said - Viginti really should have been free like Quindecim was, and it doesn't seem quite right that the big anniversary event required so many players to pay passes to complete (passes which not everyone has to spare). I'm really hoping the 25th anniversary will be an event everyone can easily complete.

I really did like the card theme though, and the Falabella was a welcome surprise. Card events are some of my favorites! Just maybe not as anniversary events.

With all the card events, I wish we were able to continue trading cards we had already received even after we have all the cards of that level. It would give more incentive to continue playing the game and buying cards after completing collections.

So, once again, the timing of the cards available in the flash sales is a nightmare. For about 10 hours of the day, there’s a direct sale every few minutes, and often multiple auctions going at once. This is in the middle of the day, when students are at school and the rest of us plebs have to work. Then, as soon as late afternoon (for my time zone) rolls around, the auctions drop off a cliff, and the direct sales become once every half hour, or the insanely egregious once in TWO HOURS.

This is egregious on multiple levels, including the fact that this is an international server and the availability of the flash sales needs to be for people in every time zone, and for those of us who are at either work or school for the hours that you have apparently decided to dump 90% of the flash sales.

This is separate from the fact that although I managed to finish the event with only dropping 6million in the flash sales and no passes, the luck factor is also egregious, with some poor souls spending thousands of passes and STILL not getting the correct cards to finish. Please balance your game.

I didn't (and wont) spend passes to win as I believe in a commitment to playing a game and getting ahead on its own merit is half the fun of Howrse in general. It shouldn't ever feel like a "pay to play" game or event, and I think this was managed well.

I will say it was a disappointment to me to understand over half way through the sales, and trades, which may have been an error on my end, but what a missed opportunity!

I was only 1 winning card away from solving the big puzzle and getting the major award which would have been INCREDIBLE.

I did in the mean time have a bunch of fun making sure I met the accomplishments and managed as many fabulous prizes as I did.

Worst. Card promo. Ever…. Smh. I have ALWAYS gotten at least 1 diamond card without spending passes. Huge let down… never got a single one. And card promos were the only events I actually looked forward to. Sad. Guess it’s time to leave permanently… They’ve officially made pass buying a requirement to get anywhere or anything on this “game”.

I’m a bit frustrated that I spent 95 passes on a card pack that was ALL bronze—zero variety nor any gifts that would be near worth that number of passes. So that needs to be revised for future card events—give a variety of rarity levels for cards and make it worth the 95 passes (or make it cost much much less). I was ONE card away from from earning Viginity—even with buying 3 card packs (12 cards), 95% of those cards were bronze and a complete waste of time and passes/money.

Reading through all comments seems some players got really lucky earning even falabella twice and getting the anniversary divine and good stuff while others got the scraps.

I understand the event is luck based, and I got extremely unlucky as well. But come on Howrse, this was the 20 years birthday party event. Given the amount of Divines on the game right now this one should NOT have been the prize in this event. That Divine should be free, Fireworks was a better candidate to be the main prize.

You have people now who have litterly nothing to show for being part of the 20 birthday party. While others got lucky and got multiple Divines. Wow...

I was one blue card away from geting it done .Spent money on passes to buy packs and sold horses to buy packs of cards with no luck .
In the end i still got alot from it but was just gutted that the cards i got were all repeats ect.

missed the 20 year horse by 1 siver card because we could only trade x1 card per day. not very happy about that. too any duplicate cards

I got the anniversary divine without spending any passes, which is great! It's so rare to have a divine as final prize nowadays.

Other prizes were good too.

I did log in every day though, and didn't skip any daily card objectives except the very first day. I was a little worried that I might not catch up, but I managed with some trading.

My only complaint, which had already been voiced during previous promos, is that you are obligated to activate the cards regardless once you have them all.

I wish we could trade them at least.

I have always liked Card event. I bought 2 card packs. I managed to get both divines (Vigniti and Petit) and also many good prizes.

one of the best events of this game. there was good rewards. It is good to get 2x divines from an event.

One minus thing: the new divine gives 2passes for completing 2 objectives of the day but Quindecim gives 2 passes for only 1 objective completed. It would be good if the new divine gives 4 passes instead of 2 because we are completimg both objectives of the day. Also,It is tooooo grindy.

It was fun to see the horse graphics from 2005, 2006 and 2007. It would be cool if there was a VA-type item in the future that let you choose a coat from those eras.
