I must've lucked out because I missed several days of the event and didn't have to pay a single pass to complete all the sets.

Cards events are my favorite, and I love how this one was a huge opportunity to get a secondary Anniversary divine who will be invaluable to me.

10/10 event in my opinion, and that rarely ever happens.

Finished all the cards and got Viginti without spending passes. Got lucky with the diamond cards. Spent passes on packs just so I could finish the Cards trophy, so got a few fleeces, staffs, and Falabellas. Can't complain.

I spent 1600+ passes on 17 card packs to try to get 2 diamond cards I was missing with Viginti but I did not get ANY diamond cards despite all of those packs. I got multiple packs with 6 bronze cards and I am displeased.

Quite frustrating that you could only trade each card duplicate once…. Then were stuck with useless picture cards every time after that when you got yet another duplicate of that same card.

Newer players could have accumulated ranking points, items for horse care so it was one less thing to pay for while getting started or completing their goals, or even gotten bonuses to help out on completing even more goals with their horses.

I enjoyed this event and I was able to complete it to get Vigniti and I am very grateful for that. The anniversary horses are a great way to earn a lot of passes and they are not labor intensive. I just have to remember to get the passes on September 8th! I managed to get all the cards except one of the diamond ones which I believe housed a Hermes Staff. I got a lot of good BMI's and the event was easy to play and getting the 2 bonus cards every day was easy as well. I liked seeing some of the old things that are no longer part of the game and I thought the artwork was very good. Thanks for a great event, Howrse and happy anniversary!

This is one of my favorite events and I managed to get everything without paying any passes - I got lucky!

Free stuff so yay, can't really complain too hard. With the exception of not being able to trade multiple duplicate cards, but then how would you make money?

-spent passes during weekend offers
-bought both in direct sales and auctiony
-sold so much of my stuff trying to get even close to buying a diamond card in auction with no chance against big players
-invested quite some time waiting in direct sales trying to get a diamond card

--->still couldn't finish the puzzle and get the top prize

I wish I recorded my screen opening the last pack I bought. 95 passes spent on 3 bronze and 3 silver cards.

I loved it! Cards are one of my favorite events so I didn't hold back got lot's of T .crowns, fleeces even falabelas . Accidentally managed to get 2 more Vignitis (oopsie about that) . Got also Fireworks divine. All in all I am so happy with the prizes I got

I had a hard time getting diamond cards on log in and the two earned cards before getting the divine. The ones I gotten were all from buying packs with passes. Then once I gotten the divine I was getting them. Not sure if that was on purpose or just bad luck.

As for the flash sales I was never fast enough and as for the auctions anytime I was on there was none available or just bronze cards.

I did like the promo the designs were great and it is one that needs passes if you want the final prize.

The prizes of the last 2 promos have been really great! The only thing I wish on this promo to be different is that when all the cards of a color have been gotten that you could still change out a useless card. Getting an extra prize is always a plus.

the droprate for cards needs improving imo. i was 1 gold card away from completing all sets and getting viginti, and i spent about 15 bucks on cards trying to pull the last one. majority of my pulls were bronze and silvers, and the few times i got gold cards, i kept getting the same card over and over again. after about 15 or 20 dollars in, if you're not pulling the card you're missing, the drop rate should steadily increase like other gachas. i tried camping the flash sales, but they're simply not worth it and completely irrelevant for newer or less established players who have low equus reserves. you'll just get outbid by people who have 32 million equus every single time, so there's no real point to flash sales, especially since direct saled are instantly bought by players. you don’t really get a chance as a smaller account atp.

the card event is fun otherwise, but very disappointing drop rates. i gambled and lost, which is fine, but after playing the whole event, trading cards i already had every single day for ones i didn't (and still getting dupes), making sure i logged on every day to get the max amount of cards, spending 15 dollars, and STILL not getting the last card i needed is just a little irritating. i don't want to spend 100 dollars and still not get the item i want or need. even the more predatory gacha games such as LaDS or HOYOVERSE games that I'm familiar with have more forgiving droprates. at least in those, after a certain dollar amount is spent, i know my chances of getting what i want increase/guarantee.

overall, its a decent event. 7.5/10—minus some points for the crippling RNG i experienced and the fact that it was a tad too short. the prizes i did end up getting were honestly great. i got 4 winged staffs, multiple fleeces (which contained multiple HoP, GF, and other sweet items), and surprisingly had great RNG for my diamond cards. maybe if i had 30 million equus to spend on the flash sales or had slightly better RNG, I'd have more praises to sing about it.

I wish there was a way to be able to trade duplicate cards with other players or put them up for auction. One can use only so many green 2* saddle pads. In my opinion, being able to trade with others would give more people a chance of success in gathering the items that they were so close to getting that would be useful.

I got all the cards and 2 divines out of this card game and used some passes but it was worth it maybe in the future I could win Fireworks ❤️

Finished without needing passes, but still bought a few extra packs anyway and got two staffs from them, a fleece, and completed the puzzles for extra fragments and a second crown so can't really complain about this one! It would be nice to continue to trade cards once you've completed a set, but otherwise I thought this was a pretty good event and it was fun to look back at all of the past things from Howrse history.

The throwback cards were absolutely gorgeous and it's going to be one of my favorite collections. Prizes were excellent; I ended up spending quite a few passes because I was worried about not getting Viginti, but I think in the end I wouldn't have had to because I did end up getting a few diamond cards after the fact. Didn't bother to check out the math, though.

I got Viginti, and the sheer amount of prizes I got pays off what I spent, so I'm content with it. I think the one thing I'd say is that the guarantee of a gold or diamond card after a certain amount of packs bought should be brought back. The rarity level was so varied some people were spending thousands of passes for Viginti and others were getting him for free, which for such a special Divine I do think he should have been available to everyone.

Overall though, I enjoyed this very much.

This card event is a shadow of how good they used to be, the whole anniversary has been nothing but a disapointment.
Awefull prizes. If this is how you celebrate 20 i dont think theres any hope for whatever nxt anniversaries.

I like the card events. I bought cards this time. Probably about 4 times. I got a lot of the same cards. I got within two cards of getting the horse.
Yes I am a bit whiny, I really wanted the horse. Somehow there should be a way to not get so many repeats. I understand some, it seems I got a lot though

spent nearly 1k passes on double packs and did not get a SINGLE diamond. what happened to "after 5 nothing packs you're guaranteed a good card"? thankfully I managed to nab the diamonds at the end to get the divine, but the amount of people in the event thread that didn't is frankly shameful (on the site, not the players) when the previous "celebration" divine was FREE. why on earth was this one, supposedly thanking your players for *two entire decades* of howrse, locked behind a crummy RNG system?

Got the divine, got all the cards, used some Passes earned through Achievements to buy more cards.
Amazing artwork, curious to know what some of those old items were.
The art for horses and divine horses cards were nice.
Great rewards, managed to snag some much needed items!
And always glad to see some 2** colored items so I can use those for the Color Bonus Achievements.

The only time you can't trade a bronze card is when you've acquired all of them. The same with the silver, gold and diamond.

I think for those of us who were lucky enough to get two (I have no clue what I could possibly need with another one that will gather dust) they should allow us to gift it to someone, perhaps even in the secret santa
