Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Any suggestions as to what to cross the GV mare Aithon I asked about on page 3133 please?

I'd like to increase the Stamina and Dressage of the foal to try and get a baby that I can enter Rosette races with? I'd like to breed her today if possible? Any help would be great default smiley :)

Gwinni- Friesians have great dressage and their stamina is pretty good as well. I think I have a Fry/Lusi cross that is a stally. Please PM me for for info.

I'm enjoying my Lusi/fri filly. She's doing pretty good getting her wins.

And yeah Notbob another promo. It's not too bad pretty easy. I think it's because they keep releasing the wild horses.

Heavens, at least this forum isn't rife with arguments.

I'm finally nearing the end of blupping out some of my stallions… Really looking forward to these mares, if I can get a little further with them; going to try some three-way (50/25/25) crosses soon.
Winter; arguments? And what breeds do you plan on doing for the three way?

The New Features topic. Drives me insane, I don't even know why I bother.

Hopefully, getting the second generation for a long project of mine done… There are going to be two variants, but it should work out like this:
One group will be Purebred Spanish Horse (50%), Thoroughbred (25%), and Holsteiner (25%).
The other will be Lusitano (50%), Thoroughbred (50%), and Holsteiner (50%).
Ah ok. The first cross sounds great for show jumping. I think it'd do pretty well. With the second I haven't heard that one. Which come do you plan on putting them in?

That, so far, depends on the skills they're born with. Have to take a look at it. What I'm trying to do is create my little strain of Iberian Warmbloods -- make it a little focal point for me on the game. I'm interested in it, highly interested, *but* I'd need passes for it to take off, and… That's just quite hard right now, considering passes are quite hard for me to come by. Saving up, though!
Haha. I know how you feel! I can never seem to save up passes. Iberians in real life are amazing. I liked mine, I wish you luck winter and hope you enjoy it

Does anyone have a decent 50/50 stallion that is not TB, or Fry or GV?
I have a 50/50 Aussie/Arab stally with 1508 GP.

Im looking for a high dressage/comp monster horse....I have a nice TB mare that was a fantastic comp monster, but I want to breed her to a different breed to get a higher dressage outlook. Im thinking of something along the lines of Friesian or Lusitano, but i'd like to hear other options. default smiley :)default smiley (l)
SledDog; You could try a Lusitano/Frisian Cross to breed your mare to. I'm sure somebody would have one (I do not haha). Or even a Nokota if their GP suits what you would like. With a Nokota as the sire, you may get a good Speed,Dressage horse that could even excel in Show Jumping from looking at the Nokota Stats.

Silver- thanks for the tip! I ended up breeding to a Friesian, but I will keep in mind the idea of maybe a Lusi/Nokota cross to breed to her foal. default smiley ;)
No problem! I hope the foal comes out like the way you would like. I like the TB/Fri Cross.
