Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you
zepharo

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

SuperSalty- check out Xellossnut's forum. They have a topic for beginner cross breeders or just the people not to certain on what to do. Also, for a way to pull up Stamina and Trot breed a MALE TB/Welsh to a FEMALE Arab/Fry that way, the resulting foal comes out Welsh or TB, depending on the fathers mother.
Just as a heads up guys any horses you make are going to need to be target trained.

Meaning if you have a horse that you want to do western comps on you WON'T be able to do english comps on.

Same with english if you have a horse setup for english comps you won't be able to use it for western comps.

Period.

So hope that helps you decide if you want to go western or classical.

I'm keeping my center classical cause its easier but I think horsekitty is going to go western so we can have a center of each kind.

Urgh...non-skillers are so hard to get wins on. Almost 12 years old and only 8 wins. And it's not my method. I'm using the exact same one I've always used for all my skillers. *sigh*

Everyone, let me know if you want a covering from my GV/Arab stally before I bolt him. He's under my Angel Breeders tab. I'll be bolting him once I get Tears or a Hera's Pack.

HB- I was so sad when I saw that yet happy for you at the same time. We Went There could have been number one and can still be number two if I ever get the items to skill. But, oh well. I have the Canadian Blue breed me that can make an elite.
julia; Lucky...I'm so not a fan of winter o.e Least it's nearly over. Kinda.

I prefer the heat to the cold because its easier for me to get colder then it is to get warmer for some reason lol. Although its not very good for my bunnies.
haha guys, well, where i live, summer is a very pleasent temp, and if we have one hot day, it is almost certainly followed by another cold, wet and windy one (as it is right now :P)
Does anybody have/know of any really good, pure shettie tallys with 1800 plus skills and 1350 ish gp?
