Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Thanks Sunny! Yeah, so I plan to focus on speed for the marwaris but also plan to keep the gallop up. I was thinking with mustangs, paint horses or thoroughbreds. But I can not decide, I *plan* to start off with 100%s and the stud will have to be marwari for me to get a marwari foal ...lol I guess I know something. default smiley :p

I need suggestions, mustangs? Paint horses? Or thoroughbreds?
I'm leaning towards paint horses ... but I'm not sure ...any tips?? default smiley (o)default smiley (o)

Whoopeee Stars In 6

her GP is not that good but i'm kinda happy with the skills she has
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 16:07:12

By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 16:30:40
I just turned out this guy and his twin last night. I think I'm gonna speed BLUP him.. but darn it, I already gave my timer to this guy! Should I speed raise the black foal for now, or sell him for two passes to get the timer passes back?
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 16:31:43
Neh, or maybe one pass since I think I bought the timer, but I did spend 1 pass on tears..
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 17:43:33
YES! He got his last win!!
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 17:45:06

Thanks Rose, now I just have to breed him to her!default smiley (lol)
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 17:56:30
Oh wow, I didn't expect this to come out.. two 20* parents make a 21* foal of this cross? Huh. I think I'll be selling him though, since I am trying to stick to Tb/Qh, Tb/Paint, and maybe Mustang/Paint.
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 18:09:26
Good lord, I set out a 1400 equus covering and I a minute later it was accepted
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 18:11:30
I'll keep him in mind Cherokee, and that's cool

fffff, look at this horse! http://www.howrse.com/elevage/fiche/?id=7939196. Goodness, Ow as some strange horses.
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 18:13:40
Okay and I know! I hope he makes as much money as Teddy has!
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 18:19:39
Eww.... the baby turned out horrible!
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 18:22:05
Huh, what were you expecting?
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 18:23:47
I was expecting a 6 star skilled Shettie but I forgot about my mare have .2 more percent Friz than Hano so the baby came out Friesian and with no trot star but the trot did raise 20 from her sires trot but If i bred her back to her dad I could possibly get Shettie and a trot star
By Retired breeder, 7th June 2010 18:27:41
Ah, I see- well, sort of. Maybe if I really though about it default smiley (lol). 6 skill horses are hard to breed, huh?
