Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Not sure bells, I've never done that cross before. Would be worth a try. Crosses are fab comp horses, really wipe the floor with purebreds even without bm items
By Retired breeder, 24th May 2010 16:32:15
You have all your wins now so it won't make a difference how you finish her off. I only train that way to make sure I get their wins before age 10

Wow! You work fast Cherokee. You did an amazing job with ImaCherokee and the filly looks great!default smiley (7) ImaCherokee's wins were very impressive; especially since she didn't have a WOY. I meant to put that Silver Belles did but I had to leave and didn't have time.default smiley :$

default smiley (lol) I could have been faster. Thank you very much for everything.

Also if anyone wants a baby out of my mare ImaCherokee, the dam of the filly above, I will be happy to breed one.

Shes fab cherokee default smiley (7)
I just completed the wins on my favorite pair of studs. I found both as foals in the auctions. I will eventually use/offer them for breeding when I finish bolding their skills.

Beach, Train your speed up until bar is full and do all your short rides until finished. You should stomp through your wins then.
By Retired breeder, 24th May 2010 19:18:35
Thanks foxxxy!!!!!

I may sell her dam: [url=http://www.howrse.com/elevage/fiche/?id=10125175] ImaCherokee[/url

And maybe just maybe her sire: Myah's Teddy Bear

I dont want to sell Teddy because he is my main stud. The baby I breed from Cherokee Indian is going to be severly Inbred. I bred her mom to her dad and I am breeding her to her dad.

Oh on ImaCherokee's link I did something wrongdefault smiley (lol)
Its supposed to be ImaCherokee
I have two colts in my "Born To Pass Barn" tab, one is an Irish X TB *18 called Cork'n Slw*****18.2X; his genetic ability is 717.70;

the other, a black Hanoverian X Irish Hunter is *18 with a genetic ability of 706.14 and his name is: #Danube*****18.2X.

I don't know anything about Cross Breds but I have them in my Pass Horse barn and I think they are too good to be overlooked and simply lessoned out to passes?

Would someone let me know if I should put them in the auctions, or are they not as good as I think they are. . . . . default smiley *-)
