This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

I just saw another one I lost, of course...I can't pull the picture up, it was a blue coat with a darker blue mane & tail with some marking's on the "behind".

SunDance, that coat looks like it was created by hand. I didn't think it had copywrite problems.

Actually if you google "silhouette pegasus" it's the second one. Just doesn't have the stars and stuff on it. But the site does say to email the person if you want to use it for "project, web site, or logo" So I don't think there was anything wrong with using it as a coat if they got permissiondefault smiley (o)

er, nevermind, just continued reading the site and it went on to the usage terms. Unless they spent $300 to purchase full copyright usage then they weren't supposed to use it how they did.

i have a question.
im currently working on some coats i might want to add to the black pearl

one of these is a rocking chair horse.
obviously inspired by the old rocking horses.
would this be violating any rules here on horse?

TT-TT One of my coats got pulled! Have they given out any explainations sides it got pulled?

It was one of my favorites. It was a yellowish peggy mare walking towards you. She had reddish/orange hues for her wings. I thought it was hand drawn default smiley :(

either the owner retired it, deleted it, or a moderator found out something about it and deleted it/retired it.

Ahm, so I just lost one of my favorite coats. It was a bayish (maybe chestnut) paint Pegasus that was trotting toward you. What happened?!?!?! I've had that coat forever! The compensation of one GA is NOT near enough for me!

I agree with the compensation its not fair!!! What if you spent a lot of money on it?! I bought mine but still its the fact :/ I know some people spent a a lot of passes on their GA coats default smiley :(

Alliswellwithme - Howrse removed it so all horses lost the coat default smiley :( If they had retired it I would of been fine with it but my horse lost its coat and it was one of my favorites default smiley :(

Hello!

Just a friendly reminder that i wanted to let you all know i have decided to retire my coat 'A Winged McLeod'. This is the purple winged howrse coat. The reason being i personally do not like this coat and would like to remove it as i have made some more great coats to put up when the black pearl is back in stock. I can promise you this is not a maybe retire, it will definately be retired in 1 week at most, therefore 2nd of September. This is to give players who like to collect retired coats the chance to get it now for one pass rather then paying 3+passesdefault smiley ;) Also then you can choose the howrse you wish to add it too. I too will be keeping a couple of copies for myself before i retire it, and they will be my own bred howrses mainly. Please feel free to pm me any questions you have. All my other coats are NOT being retired, so please do not get mixed up on which one i am retiring

I revieved the message that one of my horse's coats was pulled from the game. I used the golden apple to find anther coat, but strangley, I found the SAME COAT available. default smiley (o)

Sunshine1515: I read one of your messages on the page 112, I think. You said the creator stops getting passes at 1500 usage. Is that true? my apple been used 205 times, and the last 5 I didn't get a pass for....


As for the players got the apple pulled away, I feel bad for you. guessing spending insane amount and having it taken away.. Did any of you get anything for them?
I also if the coat was stolen it should be taken directly off the game, instead of months after..
