This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

Nah, it wouldn't be your fault - to be honest it's the loss of the coat I care about more than the loss of the passes, and it's not your fault anyway. It does feel like a bit of a loss to have a rare coat stripped and then one GA as compensation...hoping that Howrse will consider the fact that players often spend passes on retired coats and leave them there.

whooaaa thats taking it a bit far, they should have completly removed offending coats (especially since it seems copyright is an issue with your latest one Inner) immediatly not weeks/months later.... if copyright is the issue here I can see a few unhappy bunnies if 'whistlejacket' goes as most people won't part with it as had to pay the max for it.
I agree in some cases 1 GA compensation is just not good enough, I have paid passes or BM and lots of equus for coats on horses that wouldn't otherwise sell at all. I should screenshot the price you paid for the horsse if it still shows in the history to try and claim appropriate compo maybe default smiley (lol) default smiley (lol) I did say try default smiley :p

I'm not sure why it has happened - whether it's a copyright issue (in which case I also do wonder why that coat and others weren't removed totally much sooner) or clearing room. I don't think asking for further compensation will work, though, as it's a known risk. Howrse owns the GA coats and can remove them from the game as they see fit. It was just unexpected to see that one go after all the time it's been in the game.

No, not that one (yet, at least...). I still have that one on a horse. It was another model-based one that I bought relatively recently, although I'm pretty sure it had already been retired for a long time.

Yep, that's it. I guess the picture doesn't show on here for the coat now as it's gone completely. I'm guessing other model-based coats are also in danger, though...

Oh, that one was a nice one. Too bad it got pulled. I think compensation is too little if people spent passes and passes to buy the coat just to get one Golden Apple for an active coat..... That's true edir4life. default smiley (lol) I don't know if I have a model-based coat though.

just bought another retired coat default smiley :-)) i now have 5 retired coats and bought them all for less then 11000 equus default smiley :-)) i'm selling 2 though

Not to rant but I do hope they will tell us straight forward if they plan on pulling more Retired coats..Not only was that coat rare and expensive ...I had 3 of them pulled at the same time default smiley xdI have many more like the Breyer's coat that I am fearing will be remove soon default smiley :$ And 1 GA in compensation is somewhat like a ridiculous exchange when most of thoses coats are worth no less then 3 passes.I have to get going now.Can someone please keep me informed on all this will turn if any more news are known today ?

I hope I have none of mine pulled, but I only have 20 coats, and none of them seem at risk. All I can do though is hope for the best that they aren't pulled!

One of my horse's coats got pulled today. It was a sorrel and white, rearing, paint horse Pegasus. I thought it was pretty cool, but I guess I'm okay with a GA as compensation.
It's better than nothing and I'm not really using the horse much anymore anyway.
I just wish they told me why it was pulled. Curiosity always gets the better of me. default smiley (o)
And just to be clear, it was not a coat I created, just one I used.

Just wondering, this isnt the place to post it, but I found a recoloured coat that is a copyrighted image from another site, allthough I havent contacted the staffa t the other site yet.

I dunno what to do? Report it?

I took a peak at what the coats were, and I was shocked! I just saw those coats yesterday! The last one doesn't look like it had copyright issues. I thought I just saw that one in the GA today! I'll go check...

Hey guy's, haven't been on much--I missed alot---I had 9 Coat's pulled......including the rare retired one Inner had too. I totally agree with people & not being happy, but when this happened before, I was told "too bad" collecting was never an aspect of the game. It does make you worry about several other coat's, I have several very rare coat's that have been on the game for a few year's & I am a little worried about them right now. I am not even sure what coat's of mine were pulled.........

I just looked at the Pegasus pages of the Golden Apple and didn't find any of the coats psdraftlady had pulled. Weird, I swaer I saw them (all of them) in the Golden Apple just recently.
