This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

When I signed in this morning, I had one of my horse's coats, the same golden apple coat Lara85 is taking about above, pulled as well. I was compensated with a golden apple. I really liked that golden apple coat. default smiley (o)

My two retired golden apple horses have been put up in auctions... I forgot how to do links but look if you want, both of them are starting at 30,000. They're both Thoroughbreds (if that makes a difference default smiley (lol))

I think you'd be very lucky to get that much for them - those coats are easily available at much lower prices in both the private sales and the auctions.

Oooh also, there's a topic in the Game Play forum about the coats that have been pulled - they seem to (in at least one case) still be available under the GA, so perhaps were wrongly pulled...either that or they haven't been removed from use there yet.

I have had Featherflight (not sure but is this the one who's head is pictured above) and also Galaxia Nacht pulled. As far as I am aware Galaxia Nacht is the blackish cantering/galloping horse with some decoration and a fairly old and very popular coat. Pretty sure my friends foundie or one of her early horses had this so will see if she has been affected in a min as it seems strange it has been around so long before being pulled and I have also seen the thread inner speaks of saying some of the coats are still available.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Featherflight was the reddish Pegasus above. I liked the coat, although I didn't own it myself.

i could be completely wrong...but wasnt featherflight created by a mod? i cant remember which one...but im fairly sure it was...anyone know?
& by featherflight i suppose we are talking about right?

I lost featherflight off one horse and the rearing paint pegasus with butterfly wings off another.

Does anyone have a copy of the picture for either?

I lost the same 2 as islandpony...I am not happy about it at all. Those were the only 2 I really liked.

No official word yet on what's going on, but keep an eye on Dotty's topic in the Game Play forum. Some of the coats pulled seem to still be available to use.

Whoah whoah whoah, Howrse just pulled one of my really rare retired coats from the game! I'm not happy; I paid passes for that and a GA as compensation is not good enough (yes, I know they have the right to do this etc, but as a coat collector I hate to lose coats).

Now I'm worried it'll happen to others...

The one I posted on this topic recently, an old retired one based on a model. I am very worried that space is being cleared perhaps for the Black Pearl to come out. I've spent a lot of passes collecting retired coats and would hate to see them go - I can't see myself enjoying the game anymore if retired coats are deleted for good.

Yes, this one. I'm not happy to lose it, I spent passes on it.

I made a topic in the Game Play forum about it, Jaguar is looking into it. Crossing my fingers for good news. I doubt I'll get that one back, but I would love to hear that no more are going. Keeping an eye on my PMs in case I lose more.

If my rainbow horse retired one I sold to you gets pulled to make room for the BP, I can give you a refund on it. Don't want you passes going lost because Howrse is pulling coats >.< I just hope it stays..
