This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

Ooh, pippin I love that coat!

hikari_amaya, the black one looks like a Shinymane1 coat, but I don't think any of hers are retired.

And the yellow paint is a pretty old one. Or so I think, correct me if I'm wrong.

The back on is a Shineymane1 coat, but she retired it because she didn't like it that much.

The paint, I think would be a RobbinLara one, since she makes so make paints

That paint one isn't RobbinLara's. It's drawn from hand, and she doesn't draw hers by hand. She I think draws hers on the computer. Other people can make paint coats as well.

This coat is one of my absolute favourites and now I own it! The horse wearing the coat is also one I remember from just after mustangs were activated; he's a crossbred by the name of Comanche who was in the skill rankings for a long time. He has a lot of comp wins and has covered over 100 mares - I feel quite special for owning a "famous" horse (not sure how many people remember him, but I do!).



And I bought this one this morning, too. Hadn't seen it before.

Just read this interesting snippet in the other forum - nothing to do with retired coats but read on about accounts that purchased passes - it seems maybe some of the inactive accounts with coats won't be deleted after all default smiley (m)

As others have said, it is your responsibility to review the EC before you board your horse there.

Otherwise, accounts that have purchased passes are not deleted as far as I know. Which horse are you referring to in this question? default smiley (8)

Does anyone here know why some GA coats have been pulled & the horses that had them have been stripped off their coats? i dont know how many coats have been pulled...i just know about one which my horse had:

my favourite coat...default smiley :$ ive stopped by here sometimes & i know that people collect retired coats...so how come the horses didnt get to keep their coats this time?

I have had 2 of my horses coats removed, does anyone have a copy of the pic or the rearing paint with the butterfly type wings? Was my favorite.

Or know where i can find it?

Sometimes coats are removed from the game completely instead of just retired due to copyright issues/art theft, etc. None of the ones I own were affected recently, but I have previously had horses stripped of their coat. Interesting to hear about account deletion - I've heard a lot of speculation that the accounts of pass buyers are not deleted, but this is the first time I've seen it confirmed by a mod or admin.

Anyway, I also have a newly bought retired coat to show off:

I think the coat that got stripped yesterday (paint horse with butterfly wings) got removed from the game because of it's butterfly wings, the creator obviously didn't paint them, so it would be copyright theft, right?

I think my horses Lilly and Daisy have retired coats, both done by Croquette. (Spelling?) I'm gonna sell them.default smiley :-)) So excited... my first retired coats!! I had the Nahis (Spelling, again?) coat and i sold it without knowing it was retired... oops.
