I have a question- So I just finished BLUPping my 22* TB/Paint (I just have to age him) and I was wondering what breed would be good to breed him to; I'm going to use a bolt on him. I'd really like to get a star in every catogory, right now he's lacking jumping and trot. I plan on bolding the other skills first- would that help to make the foal better?

Hi, it's Poky again. I breed Anglo Arabs on here and need some tips on how to improve my breeding. I will be on this topic for a while and would love to chat. Here is one of my recent Anglo Arab foals: Lynn

That's good. [Pokypal] I'd try and breed like 21 stars together and have them have 100 blup...or at least in the high 90s. chickentender has some schedules in her forum for training your horse to 100 blup. default smiley ;)

I'm working [training them right now] on doing arabian and connie crosses. I'm training my arabian and working on better connies so I can have the best results. default smiley :-))

This is my Anglo Arab breeding mare: Bmare(never sell) She has great skills and is 100 BLUP, but has low green stars.default smiley ;) She's a pretty good mare and produces good foals. Lynn is one of her foals as posted above.
By Retired breeder, 15th May 2010 19:07:41
Cool! I breed Anglo Arabs as crossbreeds and purebred Irish Hunters.
By Retired breeder, 15th May 2010 19:09:36
Maybe if you get a higher starred arabian [and skilled] stallion and bred him with her, you could get a better arabian and use her as your breeding mare. default smiley ;)
