Something with maybe...high trot or jumping? Like a another cross with high stars in stamina, dressage, trot and jumping. Good for XC comps. default smiley ;)
By Retired breeder, 16th May 2010 02:51:33
Thanks I'll try that when shes BLUPed.
By Retired breeder, 16th May 2010 02:57:05
Your welcome, I am always prepared to try and help.
By Retired breeder, 16th May 2010 03:04:50
Okay then maybe you can help me with this,I am trying to get a very high dressage foal that will get a lot of dressage skills,so what two breeds do you think I should breed, and which one should be the mother and which should be the father?
By Retired breeder, 16th May 2010 03:08:17
Irish hunters have the highest dressage, I believe. I am going to BLUP my double star all star I got from Ozrider tonight and tomorrow. Does anyone have any tips or schedules they would tell me?
By Retired breeder, 16th May 2010 03:13:17
Well with my pure paints I usually train in dressage a bit, speed a bit,and a tiny bit of jumping then enter them in SJ comps until they dont gain skills and then I enter them in all the other comps(ecxept barrel)and then I bold their top 3 skills, not sure how it will work on crosses toughdefault smiley xd

Fresien/Irish foal should be perfect for dressage. Morgans too, but they don't go up the highest in stars.
By Retired breeder, 16th May 2010 03:21:57
Should the sire or the dam be fresian?
By Retired breeder, 16th May 2010 03:29:47
Mm.. well the Irish are higher in stars, right? Then I guess I'd do the Fresien as the dam, so she can get a very high starred sire.
By Retired breeder, 16th May 2010 03:30:57
Or, have a very high starred Irish mare and breed her to a Fresien sire and then you will have a very high starred fresien..
By Retired breeder, 16th May 2010 03:31:12
Okay thanks...any idea how high fresian stars are in the sales?
By Retired breeder, 16th May 2010 03:32:50
uhm.. *checks* They seem to go up to 21* in the sales as of current.

Hi, PutOnAHappySmile default smiley :)! Want to talk about cross breeding?default smiley *-)
By Retired breeder, 16th May 2010 12:16:57
cross breeding is cool its more rewarding i think as you are putting many aspects of so many different breeds into one horse !! i think that mustang x thoroughbreds are cool to breed also standardbreds and thoroughbreds are a little different and it didnt work out as well as i expected ah well. i have bred many elite-ish mustang x tb's but my most succesfull was cptn jack harkness he got to 5# on the gallop board in the mustang rankings! but he has been knocked right out of it now ! it was good whilst it lasted.
if any of you guys wants to join me please just pm me !!!!

I just got a mustang stallion as part of a trade for a cross mare I no longer needed. He hass 19* and is fully BLUPed and bolded. Think he would mix well with a chinco mare?
I'm going to try for the #1 paso gallop spot. : D
If I can find a high enough GP stally and mare, although I just saw some nice TBs put into the PS with 190 gallop GP.default smiley *-) I should go grab one...
I have the hera's pack and BLUP'ing items all set.default smiley (lol)
I just don't have a good foal games schedule, does anyone here have one?
And will it be hard to BLUP a horse doing two lessons a day? I want it to have max skills.
