Here's the pond I made!:

Wow, all your guys' stuff is really cool! I make stuff for Breyers; I'm too lazy and impatient to tinker with the tiny things you need to make Schleich gear. XD

Your farm is amazing!!! Mines so drab.default smiley :(

No, it's just the grass, get some, it looks really cool!
By Retired breeder, 19th August 2015 01:46:52
What do you use for grass pengy?

I had this awesome idea: get pipe cleaners (chenille stems) that are green, then cut down the fuzz with scissors so all that's left is the wire. Then use to fuzz as diorama grass!

I love WATER, any water- ponds, waterfalls, rivers, pools, fountains, oceans, lakes, etc. therefore I want to make a small waterfall with rocks, hot glue, white seed beads, paint, and whatever I'd use for tiny plants. I want to make my entire farm realistic and totally "exotic"- lots of grass, flowers, water, and natural stone walls. That's my dream real barn, and I'm going to try making it in Schleich. I tried drawing it once but the first drawing took like an hour and it wasn't that great so I have up. This exotic dream barn would also have some Japanese style windows, and the stalls would be those fancy curved barred front ones. Sadly those would be very hard in Schleich!

Bouncy balls?! You're a genius!
I use model rail road grass that comes in various colors in a long roll. Cover my baseboards with it and staple it on the underside.

Ya, the bouncy-ball just ended up in there ,and I was like, jollyball!
Model railroad grass or other turf works really well, I used it for a Breyer diorama of Sergeant Reckless in the Korean War. default smiley :)

That/s so cool! What was your project? I want to try feeding a pumpkin milk and see how it grows...
I did an experiment making a bean plant listen to heavy deathcore music every day... It actually grew faster! My dad theorizes it was trying to grow legs and run away. default smiley (lol)

In case I do end up doing that, I ask for your opinion to help me make choices default smiley xd. If you guys could please help me that's be great! default smiley :)

Which should I do for the inner wood? dark wood, medium wood, or reddish wood? (Think the jungle tree wood in minecraft default smiley xd)

Which should I do: same color for the door trim and bars (black, red, silver, white, or dark green) , or a color for the bars (black, or silver) and a color for the trim (black, red, dark green, dark blue, or white)?

Which color stones should I do? (I don't know I ill have options for this just in case) light grey, dark grey, tan, brown, or multi stone color?

What color outer wood should I do? I also don't know if there's be options for this, but oh well. Pretty much any color, I MIGHT be able to water color and they sell lighter wood and turquoise weathered wood I do believe. Possibly more.

Should I add a part just in front of the main door with some grassy stuff and a piece of gravel path, or not? If so, dark grass or medium grass?

Should I put in a back exit where the tack area is? I may actually be able to build a door...

Any other opinions? I'll try to post a pic of my barn soon. Thanks guys!

Okay, I finally have time to answer this: I would say reddish wood and the same for trim, and have green bars. For stones, dark grey. Maybe a cute red brick if you can for the outside! Medium grass, and the diorama place also sells flower hedges for the front of the stable. No exit for the tack room though. Try a wash stall, and feed room in it too!

Yaay schleichs! Hmm, where to start? Well, I have over 75+ schleichs.
Does anyone else love making schleich tack? I particularly enjoy crocheting saddle blankets.

Here is the first message ever posted here, funny to think it was only 8 months ago when this topic started!
