These should be my friends horses in their blankets and halter that I made for them. And my green grass rug. It's actually brighter than it looks and the foals blanket is really dark teal

It likely will fit your Arab. I would imagine that it's made to fit all typical horses, just not drafts or anything. However I don't have an Arab mare or any Schleich tack so I don't know...

That's Twister Sky's private barn with an ugly "saddle" and Audrey. The slabs of cardboard on the side are 2 shelves.

Those are really cool!

Now I have another. This is my custom "bay" Arab foal, Inganiad or Roxy. I don't know what the little white marks on this side are from, but they weren't originally there.

Maybe I'll go full out awesomeness in my big barn. If I put in stall mats (felt?) stain the wood with watercolors, and paint and trim the doors, it'd look awesome!
By Retired breeder, 18th August 2015 16:42:34
Cool! You should totally do that!!
By Retired breeder, 18th August 2015 16:53:37
I think I might. Michael's has a black crocodile skin type felt that'd be perfect for stall mats, I bet I could line the walls with Popsicle sticks totally (once I get bypass pruners!) and Michael's also probably has rather cheap wood grain paper that I could put on the outside of my barn. And I'd love to add some stone, too. But then if I want to redo the doors, that involves pulling them off and for some of them, that could pose a problem. Also if I tried really hard, I bet I could make them slide, and I bet I could also make the stalls have bamboo skewers or at least round toothpicks instead of uneven flat ones if I got round toothpicks.

In case I do end up doing that, I ask for your opinion to help me make choices default smiley xd. If you guys could please help me that's be great! default smiley :)

Which should I do for the inner wood? dark wood, medium wood, or reddish wood? (Think the jungle tree wood in minecraft default smiley xd)

Which should I do: same color for the door trim and bars (black, red, silver, white, or dark green) , or a color for the bars (black, or silver) and a color for the trim (black, red, dark green, dark blue, or white)?

Which color stones should I do? (I don't know I ill have options for this just in case) light grey, dark grey, tan, brown, or multi stone color?

What color outer wood should I do? I also don't know if there's be options for this, but oh well. Pretty much any color, I MIGHT be able to water color and they sell lighter wood and turquoise weathered wood I do believe. Possibly more.

Should I add a part just in front of the main door with some grassy stuff and a piece of gravel path, or not? If so, dark grass or medium grass?

Should I put in a back exit where the tack area is? I may actually be able to build a door...

Any other opinions? I'll try to post a pic of my barn soon. Thanks guys!

Awesome! ! I'm finally going to horse camp tomorrow! It's only one day (and hopefully next Wednesday too!) but I'm still thrilled default smiley xd plus I'm going with my best friend! We're going to have great time, hopefully with plenty of arts and crafts. Apparently they sometimes do trail rides to the pond but maybe not as there's a chance of thunder tomorrow. Still I'm hoping! I currently have one thing on my bucket list: go swimming with a horse!! I have to go make a packing list. Including my friends "boarding" stallion and foal who came to my Horspital! I need to think of a name for my Horspital. Or it could just be a salon, either way. default smiley (lol)

I want friends who will board their horses at my little place!
By Retired breeder, 18th August 2015 20:36:04
Yeah! Wouldn't that be awesome if people had huge schleich boarding farms.
