By Retired breeder, 14th August 2015 18:28:04
What horse is on the front?
By Retired breeder, 14th August 2015 19:03:31
Okay, judge this guys conformation:

I would have to say:

-Long Back
- Cow Hocked
- Neck ties low
- And he needs a new farrier, his front feet look a bit rounded.
Long back, thick neck, short pasterns, possibly a thick throatlatch too.

I'm SOO excited!! Finally bought a sailboat for home!! Anyway showing off my collection today. Getting carmaugue soon!
I Started collecting schleich 2006 when my family had to Alabama for a couple years. I started with 3 foals and a family of zebras. Now I have over 90 different Schleich horse models the old stable, 2 wagons, 3 riding sets, and a family of exclusive Icelandic ponies. I've taken my collection to my county fair two years in a row and have won a first and second. Schleich is such a really good quality toy and I hope to continue collecting. default smiley (l)

You can show in the county fair! Yes! I love the old stables! Have both! Just got my second one a few weeks ago. I love the exclusive icelandics! And I have one wagon, how is the draught wagon?
For the brown/bay model a few posts above, the horse isn't cow hocked, it's base wide. default smiley ;)

Agreed. I don't see any cow hocks, but he's definitely base wide.

Am I the only one who think the Trakehner mare and stallion's legs are way too short? I didn't quite realize just how stubby they were until I got them.

I apologize if these pictures are too big... Knowing my mediocre skill with technology, they will probably turn out to be enormous. Sorry about that.

True! The stallion is doing the fox trot witch is exclusive to the missuori fox trotter who is gaited. He is not gaited nor the fox trotter.

The mare's legs seem okay, but the stallion's are just.. Wow...

I agree. The mare is not bad but the stallion's legs are short. The back right on the stallion is just weird... When I bought the stallion I thought he was a spotted saddle horse because he was gaiting.

Yes! So now I use him as a missuori fox trotter!
By Retired breeder, 16th August 2015 22:03:03
I honestly thought that it was a SSH because it was gaiting so I was confused as to what was going on there
By Retired breeder, 16th August 2015 22:16:16
Ya, look at this fox trotter:

Hi guys! I'm back! I was at the fair all week showing my projects. I got champion in my weight class for my cow! Which was only a faint two other people.... but anyway it was awesome! I also got the junior sportsmanship award for my horse club! So, I haven't had time for my schliech, but I am working (ish) on stuff.
