Yeah, why add a FICTIONAL BREED(the Ba'nei horse), when you could add REAL BREEDS, like the Clydesdales, Jutland Draft, Suffolk Punch, American Cream Draft, and SO MANY OTHERS?!?!default smiley :k

Hey! I have some Schleich models but also Breyers and Julips which are probably my favourite. Usually go to a few events every year. Nice to find other people who like their model horses too!

Good harvest today. I live on an Island and the only shop to sell this had opened for the season - let’s just say hail Amazon- I forced myself to stop to five. I love my new grey mare Arabians, even if she must be old news for you guys. I hope they will receive new lodes for tourists season! I need a decent stable and I saw one on Etsy. I will find a way. So exited to be able to pick this up again !

Does anybody else have a Greyish roan Welsh stallion? I can't remember his name fully, but I know it had Brook in it. Based off a real life guy exactly like him.

Complete Coat Description:
Medium size blaze, 2 hinds socks and 2 left hoof sock.
Forelock to the right side of his head, airplane ears, looking to the right. Black mane and tail, with the tail fading to grey at the bottom.

If you remember his name, please tell me! I think it is 3 words.

My favourite is a Clydesdale that is really old and its year is unknown
My favorite schleich would have to be the hanovarian stallion that came with the wash stall and then my favorite collecta would have to be the black Forrest stallion or the quarter horse stalliondefault smiley (7)

Hi I’m an amateur collector and I gage a super dumb question: how do you tell the schleich year? Is it the little number on the belly that says 06 or something like that?

Its a perfectly good question...asking is how we find things out! So to answer your question, yes the year is on the belly so the 06 stands for 2006.default smiley ^)

Guess who finally got a few new Schleichs? This girl did! Drumroll please...

I'll start off with the oldies...meaning dinosaurs lol. Not usually where i go much on the site, but they were on sale and the page they were on said something about last chance, so i picked up a couple. I do think the dinosaurs are pretty neat, but i don't collect too many compared to the other types of Schleich. Anyway, here they are.

I got the dinosaur called Tawa.

I also got a dino called Psittacosaurus.

And i'll go ahead and include this little guy here, since he is a dino. It was the little extra thank you figurine they included for free. Its a cute little stegosaurus keychain.

I also got one of the blind bags of mini dinos that include three surprise figures, just because my understanding is that the mini dinos were a short lived Schleich line that are retired now, and i thought maybe it'd be good to have a few while they are still available on the site. They came in plastic bags inside one blind bag pouch, and only one had the name of the dino on the bag. It was the mini velociraptor. Another seems to be a Pterdactyl, Pteranodon, or something similar, and i honestly dont know what the third one was but it is quite a bit larger than the other two. Unfortunately i cannot find good pictures of them to share.default smiley 8-)

That's it for the dinos for now! Here are some of the other Schleich i got!

I got the Bull Terrier. I seriously wish they would start making the dogs bigger again!

Next up is the Slow Loris! He's cute but smaller than i thought he'd be.

I got the baby Tapir. I still need to get the new adult one, but i do have the old version so my new little baby is not orphaned and alone in the meantime!default smiley ^)

Last but certainly not least, i finished my Oldenburger family by getting the stallion and foal! I've already got mama. And yes, its definitely a perfect heart on the foal's forehead!

Welp, that wraps it up for now...until next time, happy Schleich hunting!

its the little number +1 in most cases
the number is the year the model was produced usually they are released the year after. tough for example recoloured models will have that original production year even if they were released years later.

i got three mojo horses today. it was the first time seeing them in stores. iheard if the brand but never really looked into it previously.
anyway i got the 2012 grazing fjord mare, 2014 suffolk punch mare and the 2018 friesian gelding
