cool how many models do you have I'm not sure lol. I have approximately 140 horses (though some are duplicates and one is a triplicate...yes i made that word up lol) and then i have hundreds of wildlife and farmlife. I am always looking to add to my collection, and i even dreamed last night that i found a few more to add lol. Today in reality, i added two. Here they are: Click to display 2018 Morgan Mare (sorry its so big, its the smallest google search pic i saw) 2006 Charolais Cow
|
So...i said i can't pick a favorite, but here is one i've always really admired. Everything about him is pretty to me!
Click to display Its the 2010 Lusitano!

Does anyone know a good site on the history of Schleich? I read the short Wikipedia page and know it was founded by Freidrich Schleich 83 years ago, it was a family company until the end of 2006, and that they started making their animal models in the early 1980s. Does anyone know some more cool facts, such as what animals/horses were created first, or have a picture of Friedrich Schleich? Or anything else? Trying to expand my knowledge lol.

I found out that the Schleich USA is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, and i went right through there a couple years ago lol. Wish i could have at least seen the place, but the company i was with would never have been interested in even driving by let alone visiting. So it was probably best that i didn't know lol. Oh well, maybe someday, if i 'm ever in the East again. I wonder if they have an in-house store in there? That would be cool

I have like a whole storage tote of them. And then so even remember chattered around because I am not very organized lol. I probably have over 400 dollars worth
|
If I had mine in a storage tote I'd probably have a lot more duplicates lol. Although im almost out of room on my horse shelf hmmm. How do you keep them from scuffing each other up? Towels maybe?

has any of you made a barn I have! I still really like to work on it. I love finding things that make it look more realistic. |
