Ok, yesterday i got this little pretty...its the 2018 Appaloosa Foal Has a bit of a bent front leg (the one front leg seems longer than the other, and the short one doesn't touch the ground), but it does stand thankfully, as long as you lean it on the longer leg. Does anyone else who has this foal have a similar problem with it?

Mine leans to the side a bit, but otherwise she is fine.

I'd like to get those too eventually...not sure if it'll happen yet since i struggle a little to keep up with new releases lol. I like to find older ones cause they are harder to find.

I did get this new 2018 guy in today though. He was on my "eventually" list, but i got an email saying he was majorly discounted so i snatched up the deal while i could.

Got this guy in today...and by guy i mean guy. He was listed on ebay as a tiger mom, but when he came i noticed he was clearly a guy. Oh well, i don't mind either way in this particular instance.



And here is the one i saved as a surpise...they came in today also! Hint: I said i thought it'd be a while before i could get them...but my friend said to go ahead and order them and if i needed help he would help me...that was so nice of him! And so far i haven't had to take him up on any help...hope it stays that way.

I am going to a city today and I hope they have Schleich there and if they don’t then I don’t really mind because on the boat they had Schleich and I saw some there that I never saw in the Netherlands and we are going back to the Netherlands on the same boat

I lost my Ebay bid today on a retired Schleich Armadillo. Not even sure what year it was from. I was still asleep when the bidding ended, and someone outbid me by 50 cents sigh. Oh well, you win some and lose some. Maybe i can find another armadillo. We have lots of them where i live. I don't see live ones very often but it is common to see a dead one on or by the road. I call them Armadoodles when they are alive, and Armadeadles when they are roadkill lol.

Schleich is a brand name of a company that makes toy figurines. Some play with them, some just collect them, like me. But they are mainly marketed for children. Schleich is a German last name of the guy who started the company. I think it was Frederick Schleich or something similar. Up until 2006, i think, it was a family owned company. They've since sold but i can't remember who bought it.

They make a lot of horse figurines, as well as wildlife, sea life, farm life, pets, and even people and riders, dinosaurs, and farm and wildlife sets (such as vehicles, barns, buildings, safari landscapes) and some trees. Lots of people like to create tack for the horses, and some like to repaint them and collect or sell them as customs. Schleich also makes Bayala, which is like fairies and unicorns/pegasi, and other mythical creatures. Eldrador, or something similar to that, is like warriors and such, i'm not even sure what all since i don't collect those. Schleich also makes Peanuts and Smurf figurines. Oh yeah, and superhero (Marvel i think) figures.

I hope this gives you some idea. They are high quality medical grade PVC and are hand painted in several countries around the world (though the company is still based in Germany). They introduce new figurines every year, and retire some of the old ones. Did i forget anything, fellow Schleich lovers?

@famusamus, we have armadillos around my place too. Also, I've never seen one closer then 10ft away alive before there almost always road kill. I never knew Schleich made armadillos! You learn something new every day!
