Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

I had a link to the Howrse calculator for GP & Inborn skills I found it in a GC forum. Would anyone happen to have the link or know who's forum it is in?

Sorry I'm not allowed to quote on my table but Hiems, I have a horse similar to that on pg.6937. Click here to see her.

It's just a Mustang and Nokota instead of a Standardbred and Holstiner.

I'm very proud of a specific line of horses I'm working with, the first is Lilith (aff. BabyBlonde Elites), then her daughter Lilin, Lilin's daughters Lamia and Amara, and Lilin II default smiley :)
They are all KWPN-Thoroughbred-Fresian, but the older gens (Lilith and Lilin) also have QH and Hackney in their line ^_^ I'm so proud of them!! The ones i listed do have siblings too, they're my competition runners-- I train them up and run comps, but because of my lack of worrying about BLUP, the boys have only had foals with other mares I own (though I check to make sure Im not accidentally inbreeding!! XD )

Feel free to visit any of my horses, I'm not selling any though default smiley :)

Sometimes the boys have coverings up, but they never get accepted cause they usually have somewhere around 60 blup, despite a decent GP XD But if you would like a mare covered by one and they don't have an offer up, I can reserve one (but the max number of foals I want any of my horses to have is 10, 5 coverings to other horses for the boys, because the 100+ foals thing is a bit ridiculous :P but i might change the numbers as time goes on!!) But I really am proud of my wonderful crossbred line ^_^
Anyone have a stallion available for coverings over 6700GP with no KWPN? Let me know!default smiley (l)

I have a couple Morab stallions if anyone needs a cover. I have one at 100 blip and another at around 80+. Both can be found under the Through the Ghost tab.

I'm not sure where top GPs are for these breeds, but these are the ones with the skill sets you're looking for:
Icelandic Horse: Stamina, Dressage, Trot, gallop, jumping, speed
Friesian: Dressage, Trot, Stamina, Gallop, Jumping, Speed
Tennesse walker: Trot, Stamina, dressage, speed, jumping, gallop
Hackney: Trot, Stamina, dressage, speed, jumping, gallop

Nossing

Fourth Power

I've also got a Gyp. stud, and a Gyp. mare at 6713 GP, 100 blup, purebreds, fully skilled in 60e EC with WoY/PoC, if anyone is wanting Gyp cross foals.

Now, I'm off to draw puppies.

Finally starting to get round to my stock. All are outdated now (laziness problems. They'd have been wonderful back in their skill time).
However this guy is finally BLUPed and I'm interested to see how his foals turn out. Sadly so far players are just breeding general random horses to him so I can't really see his genetics shine.
If anyone wants to breed to him, he sends out 3 public covers a day, or you can message me for a private one. I really wanna see what he throws.
Thank you!

The First Step to my' All Breeds Project' .
Just bred this fine lady!!

Looking forward to breeding her! I'm hoping to find a good cross that excels in some of the same skills, maybe with more of a focus in dressage or jumping. Either way, I'm very happy!!

I'm new to crossbreeding and most of my other horses' genetic potential is in the 2000s, so compared to them, she's a star

Alright, so I bred him back to a pure Walker and here's what I got. I was a little impatient so I bred her a little early before she was fully blupped, but I think he still turned out alright! I was hoping for a *little* more trot, but I'm really happy with how high his stamina got! default smiley (y)

If you need help with anything, I'm doing the same project at the moment. Almost done, just crossing the horses together to get all the breeds into one rather than several.

Also good news everyone - I've finally finished a new list of the top 3 skills per breed, but this time it has the value of the skills too! Stay tuned for a finished version which will be appearing in my forum within the next month or so, as I'd like to include a few other key comparisons that may or may not be useful before I release this one.
anyone done a decent highland cross? I would love to work with you if you have!!
