Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Hey guys,

I've created my own crossbreeder's index so if there's anything you're looking for that may help you out, you can follow this link.

If there's anyone or anything you know that has a heap of other resources that I could put into my index, please let me know and I'd be happy to announce it on my page.

I've met a few players in the crossbreeding industry that are wonderful to work with and I'd like to make it easier for players to find what they're looking for when it comes to crossbreeding, as often times information can get lost in the forums.

I'm very open minded so if you have any suggestions please let me know.
You're so helpful with your resources! Especially the BLUPing schedules and the horse skill listing!

Thankyou!
I hope to add more, and include recognition of other player's information, as I'm sure I'm not the only one who sits down and organises the intimate details.

With the horse skill listing I want to create a new table including the values of those skills, but I simply don't have the time or internet access to do so just yet.
This little filly hoping to make a fairly solid cross country horse default smiley ^) Any ideas what I should cross her with next?

Thanks to a fantastic covering by UnionRags123 of the American Horror Story team I've got Part 1 of a long term project of mine.

Part 2 should hopefully be born within the hour if I can ever get the last 5 wins on this other horse. I rushed and did too many rides too soon

Hi! I've never tried any crossbreeding but I would like to. I've grown kinda tired of the same old purebreeds. Thanks to this thread, I think I'm ready to start experimenting!! I'll definitely be checking here oftendefault smiley ^)

I'm doing a Pesti cross project, so if someone could offer one of my females a covering from a male Pesti who can still pass on the coat, that would be awesome! Thanks.

All right! I'll PM you when he's at 100 blup.

Ah, in that case I have Consort that I've been meaning to blup/skill as well, so she could be ready tomorrow too~

I finally did it!

I've got my first ever 1000GP 6-way.
He's Got It All(name doesn't go with my Crayola theme, but there's room for change) has a minimum of 1000GP in all 6 GP skills.

Except for dressage, his stats are so even that I doubt he'll do that great in comps, but I've been waiting for months for the GP to get high enough to where this project would be possible as I though it'd be cool to do. There is an easier combo of breeds but one I needed doesn't offer GP that high outside the team. I feel like I accomplished more by doing a 4-way cross

Congratulations bibbs!

---

In other news, I am desperately seeking covers or mares to breed that have two or more of the listed breeds in their bloodline;

Morgan
Icelandic Horse
Holsteiner
Selle Francais
Barb
Curly

I am not concerned if they are crossed with other breeds, just wondering if I can reduce the amount of APs I need to spend to complete my project.
