Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you
zepharo

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

agle all you have to do is go look for a mod that's on and tell them about it. They'll clean it up real quick. And if they are in the proper mood maybe do other things default smiley :k

Nice horses eagle! I'm curious too see that appy/hano crossed with a standie. Maybe even a standie/arab to bring up stamina?

Well crud, have to leave. Hopefully I'll get home before the update so I can finish skilling this guy. Just has to finish his training, rides, bold him out, get his lessons done....

I've almost got my Paint stud ready to mate with my Paint/TB cross to "freshen up" my Paint bloodlines. Very excited!

Once I have a good colt from them, I'll cross him with my to see whether I like the Paint/Arab/TB cross or not. I think I might end up with some nice showjumpers with those lines.

I have a 20 dollar bill in my hand and absolutely dying of impatience default smiley :) Leaving in 30 minutes to my beloved state Arizona default smiley :)
I have a few crosses that are so close to my goal. They have at least 10* in all areas but not quite to the 200 for genetics...

Well I will say Im glad the RD ranks dont change daily. I was with out a computer all week and had to use my phone whci is verybdifficult to skill with. Tomorrow should be better and I can finish or get closer to finishing.

Oh and Xellos, someone needs to start working on a Don fit to win a rosette. default smiley (lol)
was that a not so subtle hint? LOL

I'll think about it but I'm working right now on replacing some ranking horses and my EC boosters. Most of mine are all around 540 and that is getting pretty low so time to upgrade them to the new 570ish horses.

My oh my, this forum moves quickly. I am getting off to a good start with my breeding -- hopefully, soon I'll be producing a few more purebreds and working with new mares to try and crossbreed with! I have my four breeds, and crossbreds of them; this is most definitely a little more than a "hobby" now. Just tried a few MorganxThoroughbred foals, and my, I am excited! I want to try breeding one of the fillies to a pure Morgan, see what comes of it. The second, I'm going to find a Z.L. Bolt for. Offer more coverings~. Once my purebred Morgan is blupped, aside from breeding a massive amount of pure Morgans, I want to try a PSPxMorgan cross, see how that goes.

Starless Night, the *one* colt of the cross!
Vermillion Sunrise, the filly I'm keeping to try a 3/4 Morgan, 1/4 TB (and maybe a reversal of that).
Sunday Afternoon, the filly I'm bolting and keeping for coverings.

I see incredible crosses here, I must say. I wish I had better stock to work from! Sometimes I wonder if four main breeds is too much… But I love my breeds too much to cut them down any further! default smiley (lol)

sea starj: Thank you. default smiley :)

Twilight71: I don't think so; games only give you a grand total of 1.2 genetic potential, which is divided up evenly across the skills; so you should gain .2 in that skill, not quite enough to hit 250, so I don't think it'll be another star.
Augh. I was hoping. default smiley (lol) But I'm happy with 70 stars. *resists to be greedy*

Blew off most of the APs I got clouding my current skiller to get this girl. I quite like the Standie/Fry/Paint combo, and I'm *very* happy it's a she - once I BLUP her I'm breeding her to a pure Standie.

And last but not least, foaled this cherry bay PSH/Paint filly. Interestingly enough her skill set hasn't changed much from her dam's. Quite pleased to get a filly, too - have a nice Paint colt who'd cross well with her.
