Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you
zepharo

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

That's a lot of projects! No idea how you keep track of them all, let alone find time for all of them. All I can really do is focus on one skiller at a time.

All of those have their own unique affix, or I couldn't even start to keep track of what's what.

Anyone have any Shire cross ideas? I love breeding Shires and cross breeding so I'll bring the passions toghether.

Draft breeds can only breed with other draft breeds. So your only options are Percheron, Drum, and Shire in the draft Category.

I am hoping they add a whole slew of drafts soon.

Rather surprised and happy with my new babs default smiley :p

Perspective

Cold

Pers's mom is retired now, so if anyone wants a foal of hers, just ask.

Next week, Cold's mom will be rebred for a higher high stat. I breed to bring up the top 2, and bottom 2 skillsdefault smiley :d

I'm down to 1 cross left in my current group, so I'll be starting the next 8 in a few days I think!

Does anyone happen to have a 7200+gp 4-way stallion with no gypsy or Irish Hunter in it that theyd be willing to offer a covering from?
Anyone had a cover from German Empire before? I was wondering who to pm about it since I didn't get a reply last time default smiley :'(

guys. Guys.
I'm so excited, I was impatient and didn't wait to fully blup my horses [were blupped to around 75] But look at my first baby default smiley :d I'm so happy. It's been a long awaited outcome to my own personal little breeding project.

I would love to hear your thoughts on her.

I don't know if anyone carried on the tradition after Notbob and I disappeared, but I'd like to propose something to all of you: Crossbreeder Secret Santa. If interested, PM me so I can make a list and give you more details.

redfox12 thank you, I'm hoping she will do well in shows.
i'm thinking of throwing some TB into the mix in the future
By Retired breeder, 30th November 2016 17:11:47
I can put you down for it, amylinn, if you want.
Woo! Finished the last cross in this group, started another. I go by date of birth instead of GP so sadly this next group is like 1900-2600. The next one starts jumping though.

In any case, a hem...a secret santa? I'd be in...if there wasn't a GP rule since I'm averaging 4200-4700 o.0 though it might be higher now depending on the stud...

There aren't really any particular rules for it, really. Only "rule" is to have fun with it.
YaY! Fun! Hm...went through my cross barn and found an extra from a twin set. TB/KWPN 6200ish GP filly, if anyone's bored and wants one default smiley :p
