Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

Anyone think a knabstrupper x marwari would be a good cross?

It'll likely give an odd skill set. Do a test foal and if you don't like it, you can always sell the foal.

*collapses into a pile of I need a nap* lol comped 6 crosses in 2 hours, and my last 20 mins before update I was being stomped a bit, still managed to finish her.

Only 31 total blups left. 2 crosses. Gunna do another 6 tonight then I am so taking a break lol
Bred for a QH/TB yesterday. After lotto (when I can think straight), I'll do Curly/QH. *sniffle* I broke a nail.

On the plus side...I retired another filler.

I really wish it was possible to search in the sales or coverings for horses that have certain breed but is not necessarily dominant.

I would not need to individually check the genetics of a dozens of horses...

Yes Iyrael, it would be good slicer and dice in cutting I think, I hope it goes well, too many teams blipping their horses are making it very hard to win comps

Anyone know how the quickest way to get a 50-50 crossbred horseto breed a line of foals until one is purebreed (if that makes sense, sorry for the awkward wording) while still keeping the GP in good shape?
heres my main man for the next promo (endurance comps)
having trouble getting him wins though!!any ideas?

Anyone know if Legacy of Hope (Knabstruppers) gives out top covers for crossbreeding?

You cannot breed a cross back to pure. That used to be a feature years ago but it was removed because people were able to get ahead of top pure breeders without putting as much work in, and it was also messing up the skill sets, which is why some old/original breeds have weird skill sets

It's all right anyway, I found a decent covering in the public ones.

Result's not bad either! It's for tonight's VIP coat release, that's why the name is weird XD I reckon she'll be a pretty good XC horse, considering the low stamina and high dressage/jump.

Actually, that is not true. There is a set of breeds whose skillsets shifted, that part is true, They are all part of one single promo called "Around the World" or something similar -- it included a new breed from every continent. Morgans, brumbies, I can't remember them all. The skillsets on every one of those breeds changed over time, and it was based on game mechanics, not on anything breeders did.

Proof of this is that the unicorns of each of those horse breeds also had skillsets that changed. And everyone knows that you can't crossbreed a uni default smiley :p You can't really pick foals for certain skill seither -- you just breed with whatever foal comes out with a horn.
@Starry97 I love those inborn skills default smiley :d Lovely little spotty fur baby!
