Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

I'm so excited about my even skill cross project. My best and oldest of these, is Aura Wraith. I think I showed him before but I wanted to do it again.

No Stars but Check Out His Wins!
Nice! What a fun little cross Muckie default smiley :). Oh and wildfire is also in on that party default smiley ;)

I know at first I was disappointed, then the wins started rolling in. I love that across all of his individual GPs, they aren't that far.

I'll log that down!default smiley (y)
I'm curious to cross my paint/morgan stallion with one of my tb/arab mares. Wonder what breed that would come out.

I bet Arabian. That's just my guess though.
By Retired breeder, 23rd April 2010 01:24:13
lolita I would guess Paint as the father is paint, but i'm not sure if thatmaters with a perfect 25/25/25/5 crossdefault smiley xd

Muckie, I love your avatar! It is so cute!default smiley :)
Back on topic, I am going to eventually breed my two arab/newfie crosses but if they are both 50/50 what will the foal look like? They both look like newfies.default smiley *-)

Ok I need some help for when this mare is fully blupped. I would need a stallion to boost up Speed, Gallop, and trot. Any Ideas?

Deumos Gaap

Please PM me ^-^

The reason why I said Arabian is that with my 25% crosses, they normally take the mother's sire's breed - if that makes any sense default smiley (lol)
By Retired breeder, 23rd April 2010 01:28:57
If I bred a arab/tb with a arab/tb, both dominate arab, what would be the outcome? Like 75% arab and 25% tb... or something else?
Then most likely her foal will be TB default smiley :p. I don't think lolly has any Arab dominant 50/50 mares right now lol

Could be a fun cross though lolly default smiley :p

Gah - I don't know what I'm talking about. That's the step after. With just a regular 25% cross it *should* be the non dominant of the father, so in your case lolita, it would be Morgan.

Don't listen to me, I just babble half the time.
It would just be a 50/50 cross Arab dominant default smiley (y)

Hey guys I have a question. If I bred, trained and clouded the number one Marwari cross on the game. Do you think somebody would be interested in buying her?
By Retired breeder, 23rd April 2010 01:45:29
People always are interested in high skillers, especially if it is high in the rankings.default smiley :d
I believe so, I know a few players that like to buy horses on the ranking boards for decent prices usually

Thanks guys! I just wasn't sure I wanted to spend all the passes to train her if no one was interested. Last time I thought about selling my mare J'sBlueRibbon who is a Marwari/Thoroughbred cross is number 5 overall Marwari, number 2 in speed and number 3 in Gallop only 17 years old and never clouded. My best offer was 25k for her. She has 63 wins in gallop alone! lol
o_O So strange.....
