Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.

Ummm HB I had issues with using my horses to breed a 4 way cross that would end up as a Fry foal in the end.

But I can and have bred 2 way cross's for people that need them.

I was thinking about offering to help if I could I can send out a covering from one of my 1460 stallions if needed.

I think the Fry's are the only things I have that are that high right now. I haven't updated my Prix horses for a few weeks so they are all old stuff.

Talk to Fifth and see how I helped her out when I didn't need to at great expense to myself and the only thing I asked in return was a thank you.

its perfectly fine to ask me to to help but don't always think I'm going to say yes when certain cross's come across.

You know I have been pretty helpful in the past and I don't like the implication that cause one time I said no means I'm going to say no each time.

I need to update some prix horses but my center is at 59E right now so have to wait till that is back up.

then I have to find a new horse for prix

then train

then get another horse

then train that

then get another prix horse

then train that.

is a never ending cycle LOL.

I really need to update all my Prix horses cause those typically are also the ones I use for crossbreeding if needed.

Xellos- Could I get a cover from that stally once I find a mare? I may not need to use him but chances are I'm going to have to breed my own mare for this cross.

If I use him I'll need to find a 1460 GP pure mare. That might be easier to find than an already BLUP'd 50/50 cross mare.

Only took me four hours to do 100 vocabulary cards. I love being alive during this time period, but there is just *too* much history to cram into a 180 school year. Yeesh. Haha, don't I feel bad for my kids when/if I have any default smiley :k

ummm what do you mean Jello? He is just blupped cause he is one of our breeders that we used. Only takes about an hour to do if you have an MA or a TON of aging points.

Man half the time I forget to put the sea horses on my horses and I get them for free.

it also depends on the breed of horse. Some of them have crazy skill sets that drive me nuts if i want to get them blupped by 10.

I might cheat every once in a while if they really are stupid skill sets and use a CT but not often.

Wins are fairly easy to get the way I blup but that is cause I normally use 3 fillers and my blupper so I stack the deck in my favor for wins.

I have blupping topics in my forum if you need it.

along with skilling, foal games, and crossbreeding stuff.

I just never have the time or patience to take that long! I have some foals that would make the boards but by the time I get tot them they are outdated!
Loving the new Aussie cross I just breed! 283 IBS with no tears! Maybe I should try to get some?

I am hating this cross right now and I haven't even bred it yet. So frustrated. I'm pretty sure this is the most difficulty I've ever had with making a project.

Would it be possible for a 1330 GP horse, bred with tears, fully clouded, with full pet games done, BLUP'd with WoY in a 59e center be able to make 2000 skills? If so I might have found a mare.

Mess; I would guess no. My Trake has 1370 and made 2034 in a 59e.

And if your talking about a mare for your 4 way cross Mess, skills have nothing to do with the outcome of the foal. Just the GP of the parents.

*sigh* Alright. I guess the minimum GP I can have is 1336 GP to make 2000 skills. By the way, Twi, I was looking at your Fry/Vanner mare. She may be what I'm looking for. Together she and my TB/Fjord would make a foal of 1330.14 GP.

Xellos- Yeah, I know only GP has to do with it. I'm talking about the skills of the foal. I want my next Fjord to make 2000 skills.
That foal you linked would probably work great. It would need to be a filly though and I don't have enough aging points to BLUP it. But something like that is definitely what I'm looking for.
