Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

A TB/GV (or Arab) could give you a nice barrel/reining horse.
I might try that. Have you tried a paint/tb/appy?

Fifth; I see you won that Spanish Mustang, congrats! default smiley :)
I don't know how, but I managed to place 58th in the western prix default smiley (lol)

Anyway, has been a very long couple of days, haven't had time for howrse really and now that I've scored the fountain and a mustang, I don't really have use for my crossbred skillers, so I will probably sell them on soon
So I guess it's on to bigger and better things! Just gotta figure out what kind of cross to do next default smiley :p

Hey y'all. Last night when I went upstairs to bed, my mom and I were walking up the stairs. I tripped just as she flipped on the hall light and the light blew. Then we found out a breaker had busted that knocked out the hall, my brother's bedroom, and...the Internet! But it is fixed now! default smiley :-))

Does a Friesian and Thoroughbred cross well? (both parents are pure) Thanks!
-Red
Yeah, I wanna finish up the Shettie before I begin my descent into the Land of Homework. I won't be coming out anytime soon. AP World is not a fun class. <.< Once I'm done the Shettie I gotta wait for my BP to get a Hera and whatnot.

Does anyone have a TB/PSH stally? A TB/Paint, TB/QH, TB/Aussie, TB/Appie, or a TB/Standie would work as well. GP needs to be pretty high.

Notbob- Eh, sorry, GP's not high enough. I need something that'll result in a Fjord which can make at least 500 skills in a single skill area. Means I need a GP of higher than 280 in that area.

A Paint/PSH stally would also work. I may just breed my Fjord mare to a pure Paint but I'm not sure if that would work either. I only really have 1 shot at this since I have 4 aging points left. And then I need to BLUP both crosses (my TB/Fjord and whatever the foal will be) which will take about 100 aging points which would take me probably two weeks to gather up.

I'm really regretting wasting my aging points on BLUPing a Foundie Shagya. I wasted my Harmony Pack on her too. I have no idea why.
I've got almost everything I need for my Trake; Harmony, Hera, MA (maybe), and Clouds. I just need a P. Stone >.<

So I'm gonna try my Lusty-Mar cross with an Arabian-Hano cross. Kind of worried about how the foal's trot will come out, but I think it'll be fine.
