Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you
zepharo

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

HB; I only hunt white-tail (one squirrel when I was like four, ha!). They taste SO good. Just throwing that out there. default smiley (lol) Oh, we have an 1897 30-40 Craig in the gun cabinet. It's worth about $5000. My dad wants to do some target practice with it. I think he's nuts...

The comps have two places left. Gah.

lol I don't eat the squirrels, the guns blow them to pieces. They are called whistle pigs around here, they are nasty little creatures, you shoot one and the others come out of the hole and drag the dead one in to eat it. I don't eat meat, I know weird, lol I would like to get into mounted shooting, I think it would be fun

doing short rides on my mare. hate them

HB I'm not sure how to reply about the squirrel thing... default smiley (lol)
You gotta shoot squirrels with a .22 if you want them in one piece default smiley (lol) Ones where I live aren't like those scary sounding ones. Whenever deer season is in, we absolutely *hate* the squirrels because if they spot you, they scream and tell everyone where you are. default smiley (lol) Irritates me to no end...

lol they aren't actual squirrels, they are about the size of a guinea pig with short pointy tails and they whistle and run around in their holes and pop up in different places. They are pretty gross little things, good target practice though, lol

Can I get some fillers in open Reining Comps for my Nokota?
By Retired breeder, 16th February 2012 01:22:44
Yeah, as much I love my sunburnt country, there's always the curiosity to travel to another!
But I don't think I'd want to live anywhere other than here, can definitely see myself on a ranch though default smiley :p

Well now that I've run low on passes and BMs, and have clouded and skilled my Prix horses, I have nothing to do default smiley (lol)
Should probably do some housework though...ughh
We have them in a our pastures and you have to have a very sure footed horse that can go full speed over them and not trip or break a leg.
