[Info] Cross breeders

I'm random. Spent the past hour making a long list of horse names, I'd say there's well over 100. I just enjoy things like that. If anyone wants a long list of names, I'll PM it to you, just ask.

I love my Paint! I'm so glad I decided to deck him out too! Paints and Trakes...I love 'em. Hmm...how would a cross between the two come out?

I used to love Paints, I always had loads of them, but you don't see them about the sales with MA, so much anymore compared to when I was only 90 days.

Now *that*, Twilight, I'd be *very* interested in seeing!
I'll admit I have something of an obsession with Iberian horses, and Thoroughbreds, and Holsteiners… Hence my own crossbreeding! I'll admit, I'd be *very* interested to see a Paint/Trakehner cross, though. |

Horsebabe, do you need a western or classical EC?

Would anyone like a long list of good horse names for your future crosses?
|
Fairy- Can I have a list? I'm not creative.

Wait a minute...does it even matter which kind of EC you board in? I thought a western horse had to be in a western centre, but then I just realised I have my western horse in my classical EC...duhh moment?
|
Scarred Winter; I think I'll do it. It'll be Paint dominant though since my Trakes are 24% Trake. Once I've got a couple Trake foals from Remember the Name, I'll ask my BP to breed her to a Paint. ^^
Fairydust; Any Paint fillers left? |

@ Macaronie - Sure I'll PM you, I think It'd wreck this topic if I posted it here lol

Ooh, now I'm looking forward to seeing how that came out! Before I limited myself to breeding my favorite breeds, I had a few Trakehner/Iberian crosses -- very pretty, nice skills, too. But, I became a little more obsessed with my Holsteiners once they came out, and that sealed my fate. I'll admit, I'm a fan of Paint coats, so I'm very much looking forward to seeing this cross.

I've got a lot of those old 35* - 60* horses, I remember when I just got into the game everyone was talking about the 50* ranking Brumbies.
|
Scarred; Here's the Trake. I'd have loved to have seen your Trakes!
|
Mac don't waste a dog on that horse. Put a cat on it if you want a skiller pet otherwise go with something else.

Oh and happy 1000th day Xellossnut! |

My, that is a nice horse! Actually, as I did produce them, here's a list of who's still standing:
This handsome gelding was a stallion when I sold him a long white back… Purebred Spanish Horse/Trakehner cross, very handsome boy! I can't quite recall what I named him, but he was one of mine. Apparition even kept his name! Lusitano/Trakehner cross, very handsome stallion… Named him that before I sold him. Very fun crosses, I'll admit that. I don't know, I'm not usually a huge breeder… My four core breeds… But sometimes I look a nice Trakehner and sigh. It would be interesting to maybe get back into them, but that's *another* breed, and I'm a bit of a stickler for breeding… Don't know of many breeders who specialize in five breeds, or six if you count Iberian warmbloods, but then again six is a favorite number… And many breeders of warmbloods IRL have Hanoverians, Hoslteiners, and several others, sometimes. I don't know… What do you think? To breed Trakehners again, or not to breed Trakehners again, that *is* the question. |

Well, I've now got this guy blupped and bolded, all thats left is to wait for a few passes to come in so I can get a cloud pack and skill him up for the grand prix
What do y'all think? |
|
Scarred; She'll be #1 after the update!
I don't know what the Trakes were at in November as I started doing them in December. I brought them from 60* to 74*. Well, hey, if you've got the time and wanna venture back into Trake breeding...lemme know! ^^ |

He's Beaut, Ignorance. D'ya think he'll make 2000 skills? I reckon he could.
|
amy; My Trake! Little buggers are everywhere. I think it'd turn out TB, off chance GV.
|
it doesn't matter what kind, just for the tack, but she has a p. pack anyway. It's ok I boarded in a 58 turns out she is pretty good with the western comps

Criminal is almost finished. She'll be done by the morning I bet. Just have to finish bolding and she's all set!
And then I'll need another project... |
By Retired breeder, 12th February 2012 02:41:07
