Finally a post just for us cross breeders. The purpose of this topic is for cross breeders to have a place to discuss their crossbreeding programs and to share crossbreeding secrets and advice with others who may be interested in giving crossbreeding a try. Feel free to talk about your crossbreeding programs and your achievements and failures in crossbreeding.
Please remember to follow the rules of the forum and be informative and helpful. default smiley :-))

*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*/*

Reminder to all.

Please do not advertise sales or items wanted in this topic. I can turn a blind eye to the covers being offered (as long as they are not blatant advertisements) because we are, after all, trying to help each other progress and there is no filter on public covers for searching for crosses, but items sales and items wanted do not belong in any of the public forums and we have a sales forum for horse sales so please, lets keep our topic clean of the ads.

Thanks everyone

There are reasons for rules and everyone is expected to follow them. There will be no posting of advertisements in this topic and everyone is expected to be respectful. Any disrespect towards fellow players or moderators will not be tolerated. Anyone posting advertisements will receive a forum ban without prior warning. If breaking of rules continues to take place in this topic I will delete it.

Thank you
zepharo

If anyone has personal issues with another player, or needs something back from another player(items/passes), other than covers/fills-please take it to private pms...anymore posting here will mean an instant forum ban without a warning.

Edit by pixiesbite

A reminder that this is not the place for trading/buying/selling BMI, horses or advertising or asking for someone to train your horse.
If any of these things occur, you will be forum banned without prior warning.

well. If you want something to do. I can add you to my bro's account and activate the co-manage so you can BLUP that colt. I'd just have to delete you afterwards.
I have been working on [url/http://www.howrse.com/elevage/fiche/?id=22053823]this mare[/url]... She is a purebred but I am hoping to sell her for some pass income.

BLUP for the QH. Skill for the Hanover. If you want to do both. I'll probably just wait until after I get my passes to do the Hanover though. Like this weekend.

@shiannes could you post a link of the soon-to-be #1 Quarter?
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2012 01:42:02
I either need a Nyx or Arms, Stone and Timer. But I so love this little guy!!
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2012 01:42:53
@shiannes very nice! His IBS are fantastic!
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2012 01:44:16
I know! Twi and I did so well. The stud used to breed the test foal couldn't be found for a second breeding with Tears, but we found a decent stud to use. His GP is only 1 point lower than the testers.
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2012 01:46:42
@shiannes he really came out great. I can't wait to see him when he's finished!
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2012 01:52:08
I know. Eh! I want a Nyx!

Anyways. Im off. Have to go watch the State of The Union for homework. Have to write a page about what happens. Cross fingers and hope I get a Nyx!
twi I tried to do some math to see how many generations...I'm not even going to say the number I came up with because it just can't be right...

I'm quite proud about how she turned out. default smiley :) I cannot wait to put a GA on her.. not to mention, it'll help with comps.

I may breed her; plenty of hera packs to spare, so suggestions as to what breed to breed her to?
I'd like to keep the dressage up in the 400s.
By Retired breeder, 25th January 2012 02:02:06
@countrygirl009 I'd go for a Thoroughbred cross and bring up the Gallop.
HB; *is worried* Uh-oh...

Back and the food was y-u-m-m-y!
