It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world default smiley ;)

The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

Anyone have an arabian filler horse that can get in 130 trot comps? My son's horse is having a hard time getting wins, I added 2 fillers for him, but we are afraid some monster will jump in & take the wins. The horse to look for is Jameel - 350.78

Thanks

He just got 2 wins, I don't think it was an NIBer who filled the races, but I'm still thankful!

Yay, Tikki out did himself again default smiley :-)). SoulReaper bred her mare to my boy and he produced, you guessed it..., 2 stunning colts. Will be 357.4 after games. He hasn't produced a single filly yet default smiley (lol), considering he has 5 foals on the ground (4 coverings used) and all boys I think it is a tad funny. Watch, I'll breed him to his paired mate and get stuck with a filly default smiley xd lol

Woohoo, Hanan "only" needs 2 more wins to BLUP! (and to finish stamina training, but that's easier to achieve default smiley (lol) ) Hopefully she'll be finished today so she can finally be bred to Tikki *crossesfingers* If anyone has some available fillers in cross country, I would be really grateful. (she's entered in comps from 0.56 to 0.68 miles)
Considering I have a lot of horses... Just PM me whenever you need fillers. I have QHs, Arabs, Paints, and Hanos. default smiley :)

Westwind - I will definitely take you up on your filler offer for hanos some time - I have about 20 foundies that I bought late in their training that are having a tough go at it getting their wins. I've been working hard at them for the past week and have gotten >one< to 100 BLUP. I start reading week this weekend so I'm hoping to be able to get quite a few more their 20 wins, so thank you for your kind offer default smiley :d

Congrats Forest Queen. *sigh* I have too many horses,so I posted a heap of horses in the sales. A lot of foundations as well. I am hoping they sell as I am trying to streamline my breeding a bit.( that and to be honest with spring right around the corner I could definitely use the equus)
By Retired breeder, 12th February 2010 15:13:05
yay! Congrats to all!!

Sunny83 -- I'll keep an eye out for your horse, but I think my Lukas might be too near winning in those comps....he's almost BLUPped...why, I don't know.....default smiley :(

Really thinking of taking a break on the NIBs for a spell....I'm not devoting near enough time and energy to them......too many other things going on, most of my Howrse day is spent manipulating my horses and comps for the sodding Level 8 EC achievement which is sort of becoming a bit of a Loch Ness monster in its actual attainability....default smiley xd
This week, I've hardly had any time on the computer, so I'm only logging on to look after one of my horses. The joys of real life default smiley (lol)

Congrats on the wins, and I hope your luck improves soon to those who have seconditus.

The level 8 achievement is extremely frustrating. The best I can suggest is to have a look at Storm Sire's forum. They've got a lot of help on there.

Did someone say they wanted Connies?

Saw this is the auctions:

http://www.howrse.com/marche/enchereVoir?id=4474753

Don't know if he's of any use but training looks rectifiable with those low trot skills... maube some wins could come from there and the bonuses aren't to be laughed at for that price.
