It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world default smiley ;)

The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

Is anyone doing Barbs?
I was just scrolling the auctions - without placing a bid ( Im very proud of myself )

Thing is, I noticed that there were a lot of foundies of all ages for sale at like 500e. Even foals of 2 months of age. It is just a heads up for those interested in a new breed or looking for new breeding stock.

I have a gaia and ouranos paint stallion and mare that I m blupping. Keep an eye on Wind Warrior if you are wanting to do NIB with paints because he is a original gaia/ouranos horse. He is the first horse I got when I opened my game.

Thanks Forest Queen and Wild North! I still may end up selling him because of the daddy confusion. Depends on if I can find some good mates.

Yeah, I was just checking my bids before I went to bed. *chuckles* Won that one thankfully. Lost the other one I was looking at. Oh well. I would have had too many boys anyway.

Time to peruse the sales for mares now!

I see SoulReaper has found a way to justify addiction to the auctions. Trying to drag the rest of us into it!

*chuckles*

Okay, I have errands to run right now, so I will see you all a little later.

-flals- I don't think poor Adrian will ever BLUP for me. I guess I'll just hope one of my other foundation mares will BLUP so I can use Tikki.

Yup, I sure do Annawe! -cackles- I figured since I don't really know who does what, I'd post foundies I see in the auctions.

YES! i just got a canadian horse up to 356.16 gp!
Nice horsecrave!! Congratulations!

Okay I just bred two of my first generation horses that had 100 BLUP but less GP

Dad had 351.88/ 424.66 IBS
Mom had 354.07 / 428.00 IBS

So here's what they produced

Dark Star

His ending gp will be 358.17 and he has an IBS of 106.56 not bad for horses bred before the GP change.

yeah that way we would have a better chance of getting starred NIBs
I've fallen off the wagon I bought 3 more Arabians in the sales. It came back to bite me though because one of the male foundation stallions was actually a gelding. I could have sworn when I bought him he was a stallion. Well I will know better next time. Sales bad saving equus good.
