It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world default smiley ;)

What is this topic for? NIB enthusiasts to find each other and help one another progress in their respective games.

The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

Does anyone here breed NIB Welshies?
Hi Everyone. I have recently become a non-inbred breeder. It happened as a bit of a coincidence but all the horses in my barn at the moment are non-inbred so I thought I may try and persue it a bit more. x

Sambra, I have started a NIB directory in my EC forum in which I hope it will help NIB breeders find each other. I believe I have two users who are breeding that breed at the moment.

I have done a quick scan through this post and added those of you who have stated what breeds you are breeding. If you see any corrections or wish to be added to the list just send me a PM and I'll correct it. Hope this will be a helpful tool for everyone default smiley :)

Hey everyone :] I just wanted to throw out there that I'm looking for a foundation hano filly, preferably untouched. If you happen to have one, or see one in the sales, please let me know! Thanks!
Whoever is putting together lists of NIB breeders, please add me for RDH and Donkeys.

Forest Queen,
.
I've been gone for the holidays and somehow missed out on something and can't find it after looking through at least 6 pages (all I have time for).
.
But could you PLEASE explain just what you are doing with Tiki Tech -- I don't understand how you can go to bed and have him running races and all without having him going over 22:00 in time. I admit I'm a little dense from being tired and with Christmas let down, but I don't really understand how you achieved this.
.
Would appreciate hearing more from you on this "method" of yours. I am having a great deal of trouble with getting wins on my foundations. Thank you.

I have a foundation Canadian mare, who is 100% BLUP with all 6 skills bolded, and I wish to bred with a foundation Canadian stallion. Please pm me if you have a foundation stallion that is fully blupped. Thanks!
*trumpets playing*

Now introducing my Elite trained stallion:

Tikki Tech 1.2

He has finished all skills at 492.12%, fully bolded and all 20 clouds used on him.

He will be available for the first 5 outside NIB mares. It may be of any breed, preferably with over 350.5 GP but I am willing to negotiate. Any other foals of his will be custom foals and will be done for sure with tears.

PM if you are interested in this limited time offer for a covering of THE highest skilled foundation on the game default smiley ;)

Good Job Forest Queen that is awesome..cant wait to get my stud that high..he is only 406 at 14 years right now..they do make great foals with higher skills..I dont want to breed mine too much till I have all the skills he can get..
For anyone doing NIB Appys, I have a foundie stud that is blupped. I will reserve cov erings to other NIB Appy mares.

Its easy the horse only lose energy when enter in races not when the race is going. You enter the horse in race do whatever else you going to do with it that day and age him. Repeat and that is how you have horses who have been enter in tons of races in one day.

Have you on my list ready-set-go default smiley :ddefault smiley (y)
Chapman due to the expensive nature of this training I will only be doing so with one other, his paired mate. The other two will be max trained to age 25 (yes immortalized) and should finish close to 440ish in skills. I am happy with that. I am hoping to beg someone with an EC that has .1% gain in their EC's for my mare though default smiley :)

One of Tikki's outside coverings has been reserved for Sunny83. Only 4 left until I will only do custom foals. Custom foals will cost 5000e and 1 pass default smiley (y) (pass to make up for the tears used on my crosses, this is only negotiable to remove if 15,000e is added to the equus price)

Forest Queen - Great job! That's amazing. Keep up the good work!default smiley ;)

I am also giving up on Sahara, he's just going to have to live with 16 wins and about 90 BLUP.default smiley :p Now I'm moving on to Shock Wave. She could take a while, especially with my lack of Morpheus Arms and a Chronos Timer. If anyone has Morpheus Arms, I am willing to trade for them. I can give a Tack Pack in exchange, but that's the only other item I have worth 3 passes. If anyone needs Brumby cooverings I can send you one from Sahara!default smiley ;)

Hi, I've recently figured out I'm a NIB breeder mostly, except for one horse, but that's it, nice to meet you alldefault smiley :)
Hello Everyone!

I am looking for someone who is already breeding NIB Shetlands to gp of over 355 to for mutual breeding help. I am not looking for a permanent partner because I cannot promise to commit the time to a continual breeding programme, but if anyone who would be interested in combining our stock for a few breeds (producing 1 foal for me and 1 for you from each pairing) I would love to hear from you. I have several 355+gp and am up to 359gp at the moment as my highest. Blup must be above 70. I never use a pony with a disappeared horse in his ancestry and for this particular breeding they must be purebred. I breed and like crossbreds too, but these need to be pure.

Thanks all!

Also, if anyone is interested in NIB coverings for other breeds, I have a lot of stallions, please feel free to look through my stock and ask for a cover from anything with positive blup. Most are in my other horses tab and have a dot before their name to show they are NIB.

Have fun!

xxxxx
