This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

It is a glitched coat and retired but you can still buy it. Set the horse coats to chronilogical then go to the last page.

Monster Truck Boy it is ok to just post a link and your link was to the lion coat.

I do not remember who made what coats but do know that some coats are just too good to be made by the submitter, some can be found via tineye, some are obvious like the Pony Island coats, and some coats are so blatantly cut out and pasted or from a photograph. Look at some coats and you see big white or yellow areas like when a kid tries to cut out a picture and leaves bits of white background remaining.

I could point out 10 to 15 coats and two players that are know thieves but I respect their right to privacy and that they are innocent until proven innocent. If you really have to know then look me up on Deviant Art.

A coat is retired as follows:

Glitched Retired - Click on the coat and you are told that the coat is not available. Ifyou try to buy it the regular way then you can still get that coat. It seems ot only apply to the low numbered coats.

True Retired = Click on the coat and you cannot buy it. Check the type of howrse it is such as unicorn or pony then try to buy the coat. A pegasus may have a pony or howrse coat though so check for wings. If you cannot buy that coat then it is a true retired unless it is an owner retired coat, read that please.

Owner Retired = CraXoR is the most famous of coat makers who have retired coats and then brought the coat back. Coat makers can retire then bring back coats as they feel like doing so. Except for CraXoR there are no other coat makers who might bring back a coat so I treat all coats as either Glitched Retired or True Retired.

I will pay passes and lots of cash but only for True Retired coats. Most coats are retired because of art theft, copyright infringement, and the maker quit the game thus having their account deleted.

WARNING - Coat makers could submit copies of their coats that are tweaked then put in pony, howrse and unicorn for example. There may be several colour versions of a coat. It is not against the rules to stick wings on your own pony or howrse coat and make another coat. There are similar looking coats out there so you have to be careful when buying.

Some people are reselling howrses with rare coats. I saw a howrse sold by me to a friend who then sold it and it was up again. There are people saying RETIRED COAT but do not tell you that for one pass you can get that coat as it is glitched.

Make sure you organize your collection, preferably such as RC 102, 102 Bobbie, *** 102
paint queen uses my system and anyone can look at her other howrses and see her duplicates and what she needs.

The retired CraXoR coat is the lowest numbered coat and thus the earliest currently available either through golden apple or in auctioins and private sales.
