I 100% agree, the whole idea is absolutely horrid. I truly hope that it does not make it out of prepod.

I have a feeling that if they go through with that horrendous idea it will be the straw that breaks the camels back.. I know If some of my rarer ones become more common due to them adding copies, especially if I spent a pretty sum on it because it was rare.. I will be livid.. especially if my under 100 use ones start creeping over 100 uses, and I Imagine I will NOT be the only one

I also think that this is a horrendous idea. It will simply reward those who can buy these packs with real money and again, another huge wave of players will quit. Sad thing is, they keep trying to improve things yet they're doing nothing but making it worse.

I seriously hope they reconsider this decision and do something to fix it.

Really? There has been some controversy about that, such as the fact that it'll make the value of the RCs go down.

This has nothing to do with improving the game.. they see how the GA release is pounced upon every month and they see this as a purely opportunistic venture to make them more money..and yes that is their only goal to make themselves more money. That's the way of life

Sugar Collectors see it as a downfall other players see it as an opportunity to buy a rare coat and the sell it for a pass profit... again driving down the games value system..we have enough problems with the game economy already

Personally, I am miffed at how they are trying to double their profits by making the coat super rare, and then getting money from that, and then re-release the coat for more money. That's just cruel.

Although, at least they won't get my money. I worked up my way as a non-pass buyer, and a non-Fyber user.

well you most definitely are the first person I have seen say that.. in about the 100 people I have talked to about it.. most said if they go through with that idea they will quit.. regardless on how much they have spent on this game.. Doing that is taking this game which is already on life support, and pulling the plug

I think it's useful for those who don't have as many rare RC's and can afford to spend the real life money on those packs. However those who have spent money and a long time to collect rare RC's ... I personally am not an RC collecter but I will still be bothered when some of my 100 use RC's creep over 100 and my trophy disappears.

I would have to agree that this idea is simply awful! I am not an RC collector at all, but I imagine it must be terrible to have all your less than 100's creeping up numbers. Besides, it favors pass-buyers. Howrse is not going to make more money from this- in fact, they are making more people quit every day with the new changes.

On top of that, what about all that time collecting equus and combing the sales to find them? Why did we stay up at night once a month waiting for the release for when we can just go buy some 2 pass pack for them? There is no way Howrse could ever compensate for that time or commitment.

I still have trouble seeing what's so wrong about a pack that lets you have more retired coats. I'm not an RC collector, but it just seems normal to make RCs more valuable by adding them to a pack.

more copies of an RC= Less valuable.. so every copy they add drives the value down.. that's why collectors are upset

@Sugar if your not a collector its hard to understand but say you have a 99c coat that you spent years looking for, a ton of money, and a ton of patience and then someone comes in and zip! can buy 5 more copies of that coat both disregarding the 100c mark and the patiece required to find the coat. It's not right and it will come back to bite Howrse in the butt if they do go through with this.

The less RCs there are, the more people want them, making it more valuable.

It's called supply and demand, and this will ruin the value.

No, you are not the only one, you can add me to them who find this idea just beyond everything they came up with til now. Touching the value of RC in whatever way is just a no go. A 100 limited coat is a 100 limited coat, nothing else and should never be anything else. The same for each number the creator wanted it limited to.
Yes, there are players missing out on coats, so do I with each release. But honestly, this can never be a reason to get such a pack to get them, I just won't do that because it's wrong in each way. My collection isn't that big compared to others but yes, I'm proud of each of them. It takes time, effort, planning, ressources, just a lot of action to collect those coats. If Howrse now comes along with a perk like described in the spoiler I'll give up collecting. Another thing no longer worth to put efforts in. If numbers can just be added as if collector's efforts are worth nothing and the will of the creator is worth nothing, no thanks. My money will not support such a wrong attempt to earn more money for the company. I'm angry, super angry that an idea like this can even come up, not to speak about getting it into the game.
It indeed would touch the one and only fun factor that is left for me besides the Unicorns. And it would be the straw that breaks this camel's back.
All I can say is re-think this, not just for me but for all of us collectors and future collectors !

I get it now. Howrse will probably change it, as so many players are complaining about it. I don't see what else they can do. The still sounds fun though, so I still want to do that.
